This is one of the most engaging idle games I've played in a while! At first I thought it would be a standard idle match-3 game with simple upgrades, but you did a great job providing a real feeling of progression. There are upgrades to make your playfield bigger, combo upgrades, and then unique ones per new world that apply to your old worlds. Really awesome design you have here and I hope other designers take notes.
Great execution! I'm actually really happy the game was short so I didn't have to memorize and discover a ton of info/routines :P Like someone else mentioned, this is similar to Minit but I like the direction you took with it. There was a lot more route optimization in this since you start completely over, so unraveling that ball of yarn was pretty neat. Plus the opening dialogue was hilarious. Keep up the good work!
I was thoroughly surprised at how engaging this game was, I thought it was going to be gimmicky but you did a great job on its design. I liked how the different areas and biomes had a different touch to it, like the vent-likeness of the gas area and such. The map is well designed and it's fun getting the new powerups because it usually let you access a new shortcut to ease some navigation pain. Great job boiling the genre down to its absolute essence of exploration and upgrades!
Wow thanks for the nice comments :) - Exploration was indeed my main focus for the game and glad that backtracking was easy for you. p.s. I am going to play Loot Loop Loot when I get a free evening :)
Happy to see the worker placement concept in an idle game again, I haven't seen that in a long time and I think it has a lot of potential. So far the game is a great start. The quest system is engaging, and the goal of adding more worker points so that you can do more is very addictive. Keep it up!
Love the intensity of the final fight even though it's such simple graphics. One thing I liked about this was that even though some parts are really challenging, you can always calculate and work backwards to find a solution.
Really cool implementation of this idea! I loved Desktop Dungeons and haven't seen many games play around with that concept. You have a nice, simplified puzzle version of that game and it's executed really well.
This is a message to the guy who actually sent me a Max Payne voiceover from an earlier comment. Your voice work was amazing but I couldn't tell you that because your profile was private! Hoping you see this comment here, I'll have to hit you up if I do a full Steam game w a Mad Max-like atmosphere lol
Thank you for playing and for your kind comment! :)
