I like potatoes.

I like to believe that games are for fun, but not everybody sees things that way. Doesn’t really matter, I’ll play as I please.

Thing is: Games are for fun. Stats and scores are just a side effect. Don’t waste your time playing for stats or scores, or cheating for leaderboards. Sure, you might make yourself feel so tough, but if you pick a fight in a bar and tell him “I’m in the top 10 on the leaderboards for this online browser game,” it’s not exactly going to be very intimidating.

But if you’re going to a job interview you sure as hell better print out your Kongregate level because that will impress your boss so much that you’ll even start out with a raise.

I hope that one person who reads this may realize that games are for fun. There’s no point in angrily playing a game while not enjoying it, just to get a high score.
