Yagimaru

At the age -2 my parents were gamblers and that they would sell me when i turn 16. In between those years I did all sorts of odd jobs like send mail, lift boxes, hunt foxes or hydras, clearing demonic dungeons, even taking bounties for the head of gods only because I needed money for school and food as you already know my parents gambled so they had no money to share. Now to tell my final moments of life.

Thinking to himself “Its that time of day when we all get sold by someone for something, but damn isn’t this to much.”
The guards speak loudly of a “feeding group” as a girl with seemingly glowing pink hair is thrown in the absurdly large jail cell.
The cell is full of all sorts of people of of all ages. The pink girl comes running to the back with no noticeable reason. The guards enter the cell and take 3 people from the farthest back which is the pink haired girl a browned haired kid and ofc me.
they then drag use to a damp place with a gate on the opposing side of use throwing us a selection of weapons on the floor, my first choice was a bladed weapon thus I grabbed a double edged sword. The girl was to scared to grab a weapon thinking of what this could be leading to most likely, the kid hesitantly grabs a knife most likely thinking the same thing as the girl.

After a few minutes the guards tell us to face the gate, thus the gate slowly opens, the second i was thrown in the damp room i heard all sorts of sound from the other side of the gate using my sharp senses
gained from my every day life. About 20 guards walk slowly to the gate at a ready defensive stance as the gate slowly opens i’m just as ready as they are as we all know what is waiting for us, well excluding these two behind me.

As this foe uses my favorite element I know this sound through any wall or door, but how the hell they keep it locked up is insane to even think about. The guards poke us with spears as if telling us to enter the Colosseum sized room .
As we enter the room the two strangers now realize just how much deep shit they are in but this is most likely their first time seeing such a specter much less a Lightning Beast!

“Inori, that’s my name” the pink hair girl says, the kid stares in fear at the beast and without a second though I kick the kid to move him out of the lightnings way as it struck my leg with no effect. the lightning giving me a surge of speed I phased in front of the beast, but held my attack knowing it wouldn’t hit but the beast jumped back anyways.
As common sense implies I have the highest aggro of the 3 of us.
the beast fires another bolt hoping it will have an effect, but of course
it is adsorbed as power into me but now it knows i’m immune to thunder so this attack has to be a sure kill. it shoots more thunder as it runs at me for a physical attack but after the 3 bolt I vanish before it reaches the beast sees blurs of white again and again in all angles of it.

I go around the beast then after a minute I strike cutting one of its front leg off the beast and at the same time throwing it in the air. 1 second later I cut its hind leg and its tail of then cut its last two legs off. The beast stops ascending I do a hurricane like slash around its neck 5 times thus beheading it. just as I land the beast begins to dissipate as a fuzz of smoke that rather resembles a thunder cloud.
My heart calms as my hair turns back to its peaceful state of black.

That is the the store of me being liberated from being food and my parents.
