CORNERROCK started making music in the early 90s, using the C64 with Sound Monitor. In the mid-90s he was founding member of the german demo group Creative Underground Department as musician for games and demos and began to work with the Scream Tracker and MIDI controllers. After CUD broke up end of the 90s he went on doing tracker and MIDI music until 2005 where he discovered the possibilities of Cubase. Later he began to use Reason and Renoise (returning to tracker music :-D), too. Up to now CORNERROCK did several remixes, e.g. for the Camouflage Remix Contest 2006 (3rd place :-)). The latest projects are a remix for Olaf Seider’s track ‘Goldener Käfig’ – it will probably appear on the DVD which should be released soon – and a remix of “I die for you today” for the Alphaville-Remix-Contest. CORNERROCK also composes music for short films like Animal de Presa (2008) and music to accompany spoken poems. If you are interested in any cooperation – remixes, music for projects like films, radio plays, and so on – just contact CORNERROCK! Feedback to my tracks is always welcome.
