The boss fight is just terribly designed. It's incredibly frustrating. The snake's mouth is waay huge, and the background music drowns out the sounds that cue his attacks. Theres no way to turn off the bgm without muting those sounds too. A really promising game marred by a poorly-thought-out boss fight.
It's really frustrating to not have any control or information about what "batches" will be formed. for example, I always find that my Speed hexes "steal" my tech hexes, when i'd rather have the tech hexes batched with my missiles. This is made even worse by the fact that Speed + Tech is a terrible combination.
The game should really save your preferences for music/sfx volume. Also, what does the "fullscreen" button do? i'd love to play this in fullscreen but clicking the button does nothing.
Cool puzzle concept but the controls really need some work. You should indicate when placing a gear will actually make a connection between other gears.
The controls scheme is pretty harsh. I often find myself overshooting the ring i want to select with the arrow keys. Also, the first level was simple but I imagine that at later levels, it would be good to have a reminder of what arrangement you are supposed to make on the screen, instead of having to toggle w/ the c button.
