“Sometimes I can’t help but feel that Silent Hill is the final destination for all of us. A place and time for you to face what you refuse to see or tried to run from, to recognize your lies and beliefs for what they are. A place for retribution and redemption, of infinite self-knowledge.
A place of absolute loneliness and despair, but also forgiveness and serenity. Something exceeding the notions of Heaven and Hell.
I preceive it more like a not obvious missing piece of life. Life is strange, sometimes beautiful, sometimes terrifying, practically incomprehensible in its entirety, but often it feels like it lacks some aspect, like you’re some kind of guest in someone else’s house, whose time here is limited.
Where did I really come from?
Where is the hometown of my soul?
Silent Hill strangely feels like one” – CognitiveMachine
