Your mother died in February, at the bottom of the stairs in the house you grew up in. The police called it a fall. You had not been to that house in twenty years, so you did not argue.

It is August now. The estate agent comes at five. Until then the house is yours to go through.

Fourteen documents. Eight rooms. Four endings – one of which only opens if you have read all fourteen.

Nothing is hidden behind a puzzle. Only behind a door you have not opened yet.

Spielanleitung

Mouse only. Click a room to enter it, then click a document to read it. Use the left and right arrows (or the on-screen buttons) to move between documents in a room, and the back button to return to the house. Everything you need is written down somewhere – there is no timer, no fail state, and no puzzle that can block you. When you think you know what happened, open the ending screen and choose. Your progress is saved in this browser, so you can close the tab and come back later.
