I think what is meant is, does SOTW calculate how much time the browser wasn’t open, and assign gains based on that. Like, can you close the browser, and will it calculate how much time passed while you were gone. Many games support an “offline mode” using the system clock, or a server time, to tell how much time has passed, and then giving the gains that would have happened (or a percentage of those gains) as “offline mode” gains.

Ah, in that case Conquerors supports that as well. Everything that happens automatically (such as resource gain and battles) will continue happening even when you’re not playing.
A small exception is there is a limit to how many battles take place while you are offline. This is so you don’t end up losing everything just because you took a week off.
