I like the game, very nice art, a pity your GUI and menu design wasn't up to the same standard of design or atmospheric quality that your in-game graphics set. The flat terrain and constant use of a single straight line of trench in the story missions really wastes a lot of potential for tactical placement of troops, and your enemies never seem to do anything that would warrant using the artillery strikes. The greatest flaw is that biggest obstacle to the player isn't the enemies, but the clunky controls. The slow view pan is a gigantic hindrance, and the inability to use anything other than the mouse to control the view means that you can't line up a shot and turn to face a new threat at the same time, which is a major problem. Aside from that, you do have some balance issues, and some historical errors that would seen nitpicky to bring up. Still, a solid game with a good premise, but if you ever plan on making a sequel, consider polishing up both gameplay and the interface.

Very nice game. Props on the extremely high art/sound production values and the great art design you had going on. Polished interface, polished style and a great soundtrack which all comes together extremely well. Gameplay-wise, it seemed to me that the key was setting up interlocking fields of fire centred around individual interdependent fire-teams. The flare guns and fuel launchers proved really useful in that regard. I usually put three fire bases (one on each flank and one down the centre), with flares/fuel launchers covering the other two bases. It worked out pretty well IMHO, though I did have to end up abusing the Repulsor a few times when things got sticky. Lastly, the Hunters are a bit cheap. Some sort of support power or defensive weapon (land mines? sonic weapons?) which would let you pull the little bastards out into the open would certainly be on my suggestion list for a sequel. Overall, great piece of work with a few minor flaws. (4/5)

The puzzles may be a bit simplistic but the art is absolutely fantastic. The light jazz soundtrack isn't bad either. Definitely one of the few flash games I've ever played to the end.
