Reminds me of Spacehopper a bit. I like the exploration; finding the Kongpanions is fun. I might play this one later fully when I have more time. (trying to check out all the jam games so I can at least vote in KGJ fairly)
The art really adds to the humour of the game, as does the crazy soundtrack. I wish the area was more expansive. For some reason, the controls get super unresponsive after a while of running, and I lose the game a lot because of this.
We're keeping track of patches for possible bugs and upgrades for the next version. Upload will be made after the jam ends. Glad you liked it. UPDATE: Bug fixed
Well the art is good - nice chunky pixel art graphics, but most of the frustration came from its counter-intuitive mechanic. I love the pixelised Kongpanions though. Also this game could use some checkpoints, and perhaps more variation in the music loop.
I like the idea of having a siren/mermaid rhythm game. But for a rhythm game, it definitely needed music that is less repetitive. I think the off placement of the arrows on different lines is an interesting challenge, would be nice if the difficulty had increased. I don't get why this game even involves using the number keys; even with the multiplier, it didn't feel like there was much of an increase in difficulty, maybe in terms of how many arrows are placed on the screen and the number you hit in succession.
lol this game. I can't get over that voice; it sounds like a burp. ;D And those muscles.... <3 The only thing that stops me from playing it further is the lag.
This game is so good. I love the bassline in the music. The art style, while simple, has good colour. The gameplay is very fun!
It seems shooting is superfluous when you have the barrage option though. But aside from that, it's definitely one of my favourite jam games so far.
This kind of reminds me of Boomerang Chang, where your own weapon can hurt you. The implementation of the theme, I think, is creative here. I do agree that the sound effects are a little too loud though. It is challenging, but also fun.
That magnet is so cute. The music is pretty cute too. It is a bit frustrating though, since it requires a bit of prior knowledge as to how certain elements work (and actually dying before the game gives you hints). But aside from that, it's quite nice.
Unfortunately, the no text modifier made the user interface difficult to navigate. I actually quite like the gameplay; a post jam version with more levels, better refined physics and stuff would be great. I like the idea of having a timer for score placement, too. Not bad!
Pretty fun and engaging. The backgrounds used against the Kongpanions is very easy on the eyes, and makes for a relaxing game. I think having music only play when putting on a show and just having sound effects play with the attractions was a good choice for the audio.
The controls are quite responsive, which is good for a chase game like this. It's like the least laggy entry I've played so far. XD Yeah the chase sequences aren't the best, not completely a fan of the way enemies can hang at the corners when trying to steer them to certain areas. The music also gets pretty annoying after listening to it for a while, not gonna lie. Perhaps it's mostly because it seems to be a few second loop. It is nice to see another game about crows though. :)
Very nice, atmospheric graphics and pleasant sound effects used for when you collect light. I am finding it a bit laggy on my computer for some reason. But it's a simple, well executed, concept.
Good to hear! What's confusing? The gamejam modifier was: No Text :P
