When is Hevan: sector sol coming?
i really liked your work on haven prelude, and im glad that you included some bug fixes in updates. id love to see a haven 2, but when you do make it, could you please fix some minor bugs with the carriers? as much as i appreciate the tactical value of a carrier, in the game i found them somewhat unpleasent to use due to the bombers returning to th…
show moreMind giving a link to where you got the songs you got for Haven Prelude?
Specifically for the last few levels, I like the music.
Could you post all information about the lore of Haven, Sector Sol and Prelude? I’m thinking I might want to write a little about it, and make or get someone to make Sector Sol.
when is the next haven gaming coming !
Eventually, though this may be several years from now, I would like to help Sgt. Mook to make the sequel, whether it is by financial support or otherwise.
Did you ever try Battleships Forever? It have very similar playstyle and ship/turret function.
Hey SgtMook,
Just wanted to let you know that ‘Haven: Prelude’ was the best flash game I played this year, and I played a lot of them. Engrossing story, addicting, evolving battle system, surprises (like the additional load out for the Darkstar), and choices that preclude getting everything in a single run through. I played through ‘Haven: Prel…
Even now, it still is the best game, very ambitious for a first flash release, yet it worked so well, and it runs smoothly… Such a shame it never got many plays. I’d Kickstart a sequel if you ever change your mind.
You should really think about https://www.kickstarter.com/?ref=nav, this project: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/indievoyage/reassembly?ref=popular reminds me of yours. Haven is great!
do you look at the best comments only or do you look at both the best and latest comments
I haven’t been looking at Haven: Prelude’s comments for a long time now. For that matter, spamming comments won’t help your case. Nothing you say now will change anything about it; its a finished project. The next one isn’t coming because despite the somewhat high user score, this game didn’t get many plays at all; and developers get paid per play, not for the rating. Also, I’m in my last semester in high school and have to prepare for university, which takes away time from development.
This will more likely than not be my last comment on Haven: Prelude. Thank you to anyone who enjoyed it. Thanks for all the suggestions early on which I took and implemented. If you didn’t like it, no harm done — it was a free game after all. Thank you, and good bye.
the destroyers are too fragile and armor is too expensive the game is also too short on Haven:Prelude
I see huge potential for a sequal to this game. I can just imagine now, being a lone commander of a small flagship, and eventually ruling everything with a specialized fleet of elite vessles. My jaws would drop if the customization is anything like shellcore
I loved this game and I just keep playing it again and again. I just find it sad that barely any people have noticed this game here on Kongregate. It’s like a hidden gem that is magnificent once you find it. All the friends I’ve told about this game loved it! Keep up the great work with part two! (In my opinion the carriers are the best :D)
I kinda wish you could reassign the flagship i mean the Vagari is a much more suited ship later on and it being the commander of a fleet before hand would have a higher ranking then the blackstar right? another thing is maybe a sandbox mode where worlds are randomly made in sequence and you go through like call it Beyound the Unknown? lots of poten…
show moreYes and on it is more suited. But you have to take in the suition with is the darkstar captain took his fleet and fought thought the bad guy fleet to get to base while the vagari barely suviored the actack on the base which mean the crew probarly took loses which I guess means the captain and commrod of the fleet that was onboard die. The darkstar captain was the highest ranking or the one the crews of the ships want to lead them. It not just ship specs but rank and hell if the captain of the vagari lived and was smart he follow the darkstar captain since that captain had a plan and the plan was working. Then there the fact that the game is about the darkstar so there that two.
About Part II, will you have the ability to load savefiles from Part I, like in the Mardek RPG series?
Do you or Bronsoner have a website or place where fans of your work on Haven: Prelude can stay up to date with developments and be informed of new releases?
I’d just like to mention for Haven: Prelude, don’t you think armor is a tad too expensive? I find whenever my ships are damaged, I have to pay a fortune of neoalloy to repair them which I could be using to upgrade my ships. I find myself spending all of my neoalloy on shields as if I do get them damaged, sometimes I won’t even have enough to keep t…
show morejust a question for the Devs. do you have a possible release data set for the next game?
thanks for haven: prelude. I’ve been a member of this site for quite some time and havn’t had that much fun since mud and blood 2
Hey I was just wondering if I could have at least a ballpark answer on when the sequel is coming out. Oh and by the way I really enjoyed your game.
