To elaborate on the points Kanacali made, the player (Jack) murdered Kathryn. This is shown in the end Psychologist report, where it is stated "he does not seem to recall murdering her". The Psychologist states that Jack has no memory of his visits over the last 8 years, but if you wait for about 10 seconds after the credits on the ending screen, the message "The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore" appears. The Psychologist failed to treat Jack and classified him as a lost cause, and Jack is forever looped in the drama and depression of this story.

"Very sad story. I love this kind of games. I think Kongregate should have an area just for games with storys like that." - there is - "philosophical" tag

I really love that game. From time to time i just come back and replay it over and over again and every single time i get chills from it. Awesome music and honestly this is THE best flash game I have ever played

The game was very well done and the story, although very sad, was done just as great! "The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore." That statement in itself is so depressing, Jack doesn't remember anything about the visits...and to have to relive it everyday. Just so sad. Amazing game though!

please tell me how it ends because i'm stuck 2 levels from a badge and would be as sad as the character if he didn't actually go through what happened in his flashback.

I agree with Preischadt, some kind of area called "Art" or "Storylines" something like that, 5/5 game, good music, great story, incredible ending

Now I really wish I hadn't finally decided to complete this game and get the badge at 12:40 AM when all my friends and family are asleep.

The psychological and philosophical questions this games raises are outstanding.
The presentation is awesome. The minimalism leave the mind to ponder the puzzles and what they or the story imply.
As Freud said,"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." I hate to give meaning to things that had no intention of meaning but whether the meaning was intentional or not. I found something great in this game.

I will never forgive myself for killing the girl so easily and remorselessly. Didn't expect the developer to actually kill her off :(

For the last level "What? Don't go yet. I have more to say. I really do" Just keep running and jumping. Repeat the process about 15 times, then you should have enough clones to surf on them across the pit.
