If you don't get the point of the story, the entire storyline is the visit from the Psychologist. The "challenges" are pictures and objects shown to him by the Psychologist which he has to explain what it feels like and means. He's explaining to the Psychologist that it's like how his life used to be except that he's doing it all by himself instead of with Kathryn. He then goes on to explain about what happened with Kathryn, but it's unsure of how she died, probably with a challenge they did together. The green box at the end of every challenge signifies the box that he had to find to put her into. The flowers that you spawn at/checkpoint are the 2 flowers he put next to her grave. Personally, I think she died a normal death, and he just put her in the box and buried her because he couldn't handle her death. But that's just me.

I remember the first time I played this. The depressing music didn't quite make it's mark at the beginning, and at the level when Kathryn was first introduced, that was when some of the gears began to spin, but I hadn't the slightest idea of how much thought was put into this game. I didn't realize there was story. I didn't even understand the meaning of the title of the game, but now I do. Jack is left alone in the company of himself.

This game will live forever. I have played it at LEAST 20 times, and it still keeps my mind working. Keep up the good work! Infinity + 5:P

We need a part two ! The game deserves to have a happy ending . =) It's soo sad , i almost cried ! Please make a part two of this , and make the ending happy , maybe bring Katherine back to life ? Rate this comment up , by liking it for the developer to see ths ! (+) <3 Thank youu soo much .

i shouldn't have played this game my brother also has a mental illness and i cried because i don't want the to happen to my brother at the other hand he protects me so much that one day i fell of the bed and he broke the bed because of anger that i fell

To all of those who helped create this game, you all should be proud, due to the fact that for a flash game, this game is unprecedented story wise and how this game isn't The highest rated flash games out there is beyond me and as someone who plays many flash games of all variety I personally thank you for making such a game. You have my 5/5
