Ah, in his *mind* he's a hermit living alone... in the "real world" he's in a mental hospital due to his breakdown. He's talking to the psychiatrist, though he probably thinks he's just talking to himself.

Also, maybe I'm just being a dick, but why is he in a hospital in the first place? He's a hermit living alone away from other people. If anything, he (it?) should be going crazy having a mental breakdown. And if he's talking, why is he talking to someone and not himself? Buhhhh. Anyway, dramatic story, even if it's a little overly similar to the Braid's. I guess everyone's gotta pay the rent though, yeah?

I'm embarrassed that this was the highest rated game on the site. This game isn't fun. Period. I understand the sad commentary. I really do. The self-awareness is cute. But I play games to have fun. If the point is that the cloning system made me clone myself 100 times through shitty levels, then you might have made a point, but you've done so by getting me to trudge through a repetitive game. This is a game that seems to WANT to be shitty. That being said, the dev should be proud of my 1/5 rating.

Fun story, I always enjoys how games like this feel so much like a mirror. . . little bunny, little bunny. . . maybe I shouldn't have ended therapy? but, most likely I won't change without a lifestyle change, f* that. aside from the plot, highly enjoyable game

Pathetically sadistically ironically sad and in some people's world, true. The music makes me want to go to sleep and the end scroll is too slow.

an unnecessary epilogue, it detracts from the ambiguity and moral balance which has been maintained thoughout the narrative thusfar. The concept is by no means original, nearly directly reproduced from Jonathan Blow's "Braid". However, that said, it is a fine example of a game, and without the epilogue, would be a 5/5, at the present state, I give it a 3/5

I love psychology, so 5 starts from me. I would love to see Jack's escape from his interesting perspective in a sequel.

Alright, I've calmed down a little. I will say that I like the way it's first person, with his little musings telling you what to do. Makes it feel like you're not being talked at and ordered around which is good. I hate the ending. Not because "omg it's sooo sad" but because I feel it ruins the whole mood. I don't think the psychiatrist-what's-his-face should have been introduced, because it trivialises Jack, and just kind of jars with me by ruining the atmosphere. And, I don't want to spoil the ending, but I find it tries too hard to be dark, gothic, creepy... it's a cliche and one that was not delivered very well. I'm sorry... a great idea, and one that did prove entertaining. I don't know why, but I can't seem to get into it. It's like when you're reading a book and you're constantly reminded of the author's presence, which prevents you from being absorbed in the book... if that makes sense. I don't know why.

I completed the game but didn't get the achievement... and now my game has been erased. Fantastic, considering this game holds little replay value... so pretentious it does my head in. I am sentimental, compassionate, empathetic... everything I'm accused of not being because this game didn't make me burst into tears. Maybe if I didn't feel like it was trying so hard to be deep and meaningful... no worries, I know where to go if I ever need something both cliched and extremely pretentious.

Really good. I love the music and the story (pretty jolly drawings for it tho), and the concept of the game is awesome! But toooooo short.

This game is terrible, the levels are nearly impossible to figure out until you just spam clones and find out the answer was so simple that you feel ashamed. Sorry, but 1/5
