The psychological and philosophical questions this games raises are outstanding.
The presentation is awesome. The minimalism leave the mind to ponder the puzzles and what they or the story imply.
As Freud said,"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." I hate to give meaning to things that had no intention of meaning but whether the meaning was intentional or not. I found something great in this game.

I will never forgive myself for killing the girl so easily and remorselessly. Didn't expect the developer to actually kill her off :(

For the last level "What? Don't go yet. I have more to say. I really do" Just keep running and jumping. Repeat the process about 15 times, then you should have enough clones to surf on them across the pit.

for those who need help on the last level, just keep jumping off and making copies. but push forward for at least 3 seconds before re-spawning, because one of your shadows might make it across. so the point is to try and use your shadows as stepping stones so you can get across :) hope this helps!

@birdflu2008 It's Fixation.
This game is so damned depressing. :( There is a prequel, that just makes it much more depressing if that's even possible and the lack of a sequel makes me desperate and the not-working "help me." button almost makes me cry! :'(

I cant pass level 16!! I just cant bring myself to do it. After all this I am to just let her go like that. I'll feel awful. Its a game but the feelings it bring out are REAL!

I have gathered a pros and cons list in MY opinion about this game. PROS: 1.music, it has a very nice feel about this game.
2.atmosphere, it has a depressing story witch really makes the game to feel like what this game is about.
3.puzzles, really really clever puzzles this is one of thee best puzzle games I have EVER played.
CONS
gameplay, don't get me wrong the game has smooth controls just not smooth enough for me I always get confused with space being jump.

I think this might be one of the saddest games I've played yet. Overall this game is very in depth, you can really see the time of person Jack is and his regret for the loss of Karyn. After playing both of the games you're able to see how they met and how they've progressed over time, what I noticed was that in Fixation, they were together throughout basically the whole story, whereas in The Company of Myself, him and Karyn were together for a very short time. This might've been their viewpoints on the time they did spend together. This provoked a lot of thought and feeling in me, which is something I rarely see in games like this.

I get to the last lvl after so many tries and restarts I can't even summon a single shadow now! Just smoke and nothing...*sigh*
Still love this game though. Good Job :)

On level 20 just jump into the pit and keep jumping until you fall,then keep repeating it until you make it to the other side.
