'The Company of Myself' is purely a beautiful, emotional, and unique game, and probably the only flash game so far as to give me such a strong and depressing response. The style is addictive and puzzling (although tedious at times) - but the story itself is what really makes this game so fantastically beautiful: I could even feel a few tears coming at the final moment. Overall, I give this game a truly deserved five star rating.

This is a beautiful game. The gameplay doesn't get old, because it changes every few levels. I love how it makes you think. The storyline is wonderful and propels the game, making it easy to get wrapped up in it and beat it in a matter of minutes. The ending was beautiful, it was definitely worth my time. 6/5!

puzzle games like these are really great. especially since they are so simple. this is also a great and moving story. I'm convinced that it would win an award if it were a short movie.

One of the best games on Kongregate - and there are some amazing games here. Not only is the game dynamic completely unique, but the author managed to create emotion around...a sprite! Using music and well-written words, this game is really a tour de force. I look forward to seeing more from this author.

and at the end end it says the shrink leaves, and suddenly i dont even have a person to tell my story to anymore witch means that he did remembers all the times the shrink came to visit even though in the report it says it says he doesnt so that means that he acted like he didnt remember so he can have some one to always tell his story to now that the therapy hasnt worked the therapist decided to close the case and confirm that he will always be in solitary confinement so now he has no one to tell his story to

then theres the 2 flowers 1 for jack and 1 for katheryn were you spawn and once she died jack did everything byhimself the only person he had for company was himself so then we come up to the point were the person who inteviewed jack for the past 8 years tell us that jack is a loner and hell never forgive himself for doing what he did so then the person told him that hes far to dangerous to himself and others due to his severe mental illness and hell be locked up in solitary confinment =(

look this story is sad and has a good story line but it just made me cry at the end and after the 20 lvls that i completed i found out all of the information and what it means see jack used to have a friend named katheryn he loved her then in a lvl you will see that jack has flashbacks were he sees himself with katheryn helping eatch other in every posssible way then in one of the lvls he had to let katheryn pull the lever then he had to pull the grey lvl to progress in the game but when he did he accidently killed katheryn and he was crushed by guilt so then when we finish the game we get a message from the person who has been working with jack he said jack admitted that he was somewhat responsible but he stated it wasnt his fault that he murdered her but once she did die he put her body in a green box because thats the only thing he could of used to make a improvised grave thats the box that you hve to reach to progress in the game

Oddly enough, it is very sad; I was not expecting myself to be sympathising with an insane man who allegedly murdered his girlfriend and stuck her in a green box. The maker has got to be twisted. Nevertheless, a really fun, clever and emotive game.

The most touching thing I have ever seen. I was crying at the ending. This is truely a piece of art. The ending was just so sad.

@speediesthalo - Maybe people wouldn't (-) your comment if you gave reasons as to why you hate it, and some constructive criticism, but if all you're going to say is 'I hate this game', then yes, people will give it a negative rating.

I was curious to see what would happen if a shadow solved the puzzle before you did. For all others who share my curiousity, it froze my browser and I had to restart it. Just so you know.

It is not surprising to me to see that this game has been played over 3 million times. This is truly a piece of fantastic storytelling, though it seems that it takes a lot from it's counterparts such as Braid - very similar story lines, even similar look and feel to the character.
Great game. Games such as these speak volumes to the idea of the "art game."
