Clever mechanic, and a well written story. However the, uh, nature of Kathryn's demise was rather jarring. Something a bit more peaceful would seem more appropriate to the overall tone of the game. But hey, that's just my thought on it.

moving, beautiful game. should be at the top rated games actually because this game is really emotional. i didnt cry but it sure did let me feel sorry for Jack :(.

he killed her on accident and it destroyed him inside. he buried her in a green box, which is what he goes to at the end of every level. its his friend. the platforms represent the challenges he went through when she was gone. the doubles of himself can represent that he was trying to help himself live on. the flowers where him and Kathryn started represent the flowers he put on her grave. this was a very moving story. i was crying when i got to the end.
"The shrink leaves, and suddenly i don't have a person to tell my story to anymore."

Yay, I finally found out the ending (I've been trying for really long to pass this game, and I would've abandoned it if it wasn't for the storyline), and it made me feel so lonely...
but it's completely brilliant, it was worth the time and thinking .
In my opinion the fact that you have to pass the levels all by yourself makes you empathize with the hermit... (or just gives headaches >.>) ^///^ rated 5/5 and favorited

this is an amzing game, story is amazing, music fits the game and story perficlty, gameplay is simple and chanlanging, bit not too hard, mabye a bit too easy, all in all defenit 5/5 this is a great game that deserves to be on the front page, and a sequal maybe hard though cuz he spouse is dead, maybe she can come back too life. or another guy. or the psyciortist idk. good game have there are more to come

But anyway, This game was amazing. My ability to think out the puzzles this game presented me progressed along with the game itself. -The Best part for me was the heartfelt storyline of a hospitalized man who just wants to share his story with others and to make friends. This made me teary eyed at the end and the fantastic music made me smile. This has been an amazing and emotional blend of excellent story telling. The music never gets old or worn either. The story and music are some of the best I have ever seen in a flash game. -The Worst part I suppose must be that the game play somewhat lacked in variety. Some levels look very similar and it feels like in all levels except the final few that I'm still playing a tutorial. It ends abruptly and leaves you wanting some more. But other than that, I enjoyed this game and wish I could replay the last half hour again :).
5/5

I find it more probable that he killed her. This is because of how he describes it as perfect and how they always solve everything together. It almost seems like he was entranced by her and completely attached. Maybe she wanted to leave him or do go away for a little while. He would be heartbroken and put into an emotional trance where he might not have remembered killing her and doesn't believe that its his fault. After all, it was For Her ;)

It's kind of sad and depressing how he had been remembering and retelling the story to the shrink for 8 years because he felt so bad about her death. I think it's his own way of dealing with the sadness that came of it...

This was one of the best and most awesome but sad games i've ever played! I seriously almost cried at the end. I love this game. I think there should either be another game this moving/touching or make a sequel somehow. Also, with the music, it makes it even better.
5/5
Btw, I think its possible that he could have killed her on PURPOSE but he doesnt remember it. Maybe he loved her once but eventually got angry at her and all he remembers is that he loved her at one point. Anyway. Its a possibility. GOOD GAME ANYWAY! 8)
