just move your player, press the fire button, then next turn, where the time will be set back to where it all started, showing the shadows of the previous player moving, while you move your guy, trying to dodge the attack given in the last turn, and it does this back and forth, until finally the other player is killed by one of the shadows, or the player himself, and maybe some traps, and gadgets should be thrown in there, and a good selection of guns as well. On first thought it sounds stupid, but with effort and feedback i believe a game such as this would be splendid. But you know what? I've not dealt with 2D animations, scripting, or any other such manner, so this is just an idea, for those who CAN make the game, give it some thought, and rate good if you agree this game would be worth the effort to make.

I've yet to complete this game but from what I've played before this summer I've seen that not only does the storyline of this game put an emotional impact onto you it also sparks ideas and thoughts of maybe a further game? Or maybe just a total new one, using this as a base for ideas, i was thinking one with the same concept just a little tweaked, maybe instead of one person, this game could be multi player, not only that but with guns, the players take turns, with limited amounts of steps, or limited amount of space that can be traveled, or no restrictions,

This is by far one of the greatest games I have ever played, many props to the creator for such an in depth emotionally provoking concept

In the end, I'm all alone,
In this room where I cry and moan.
I wish the shrink would come back to me,
So I can at least tell my story.
If Kathryn were here, i would be sane,
And I would not have to feel this pain,
But time is something i cannot bend,
I've lost all hope, and this is the end...

@awesomearyan just keep jumping and respawning, eventually you and/or your copies will be able to jump on each others' heads and go more far, until one of them crosses the gap.

this is more than just a game. its a story and an adventure! no other game, flash or console, has ever been like this!

if you read the shrink's dignostic it says "he doesn't recall that he murdered her" sot he did in fact murder her. this is pretty sad becuase the way he describes her she meant everything to him.
also at the end he says "the shrink leaves and suddenly i dont have a person to tell my story to anymore." this could mean that he didnt feel he finished his story which would go with the possibility that he never remembers the shrink visiting. OR it could mean that he realizes the shrink isnt coming back again, fitting in line with the option that he remembers he shrink, but might feel he has nothing else to talk about and so he just repeats the story every visit

such a sad game. very creative with the graphics and the music is great too. i enjoyed the hell out of it. I don't think a lot of people are grasping the story correctly, but who's to say i'm not wrong? for example, at the "The end" page, one guy said he remembers him. if he's telling the shrink the same story week after week, obviously once the shrink's gone, he doesn't. and i think he did kill his wife, since in the game itself, you kill her. either way, awesome, awesome game. 5/5

For those of you wondering how to get past the last level, I found that just continuously holding right and repeatedly tapping jump worked, with space after I hit the bottom of the pit.
On the storyline: This is what games mean to me. They tell creative, sad, lonely stories that no other medium can. This is just a wonderful, beautiful piece of art.

this game is very touching it is very in depth and a great puzzler i would give this game a 5/5 one of the best flash games i have ever played no doubt. it just makes me curious how the idea for this game came from is it purely fiction or is it something more...
