This game is so sad! its also really interesting though. I just played through it all. It was very well written and the twist at the end was awesome. It made the whole game make sense. : ) 5/5 for sure.

@mk47funk: You can turn off the music. Go to the pause menu, and then turn the slider at the bottom all the way down.

Oh god the melancholy, why does the final report have to be so brutal on my heart, and yet touching at the same time? Music ties in perfectly, and i have finally found a game that has the level of sadness i have wanted for a long long time. Forget titanic, forget romance movies, play the company of myself and you will experience real sadness. Only catch is that i just cant cry.

Amazing, sad but beautiful, like the short game COMA. And like Coma its a MASTER PIECE. Its much more than a game its art. For sure the multiples of himself represent the many times he has had the same interview with the shrink. Congratulations man, you have talent.

Nicely made. Level design could have been better (like that last level, where you have to make a bunch of shadow clones to jump off of) but overall I loved it. Reminded me of Braid, as I'm sure you'll agree. AND as I type this I think that I'm going to have everything I type being re-typed as I hit space. Please make more.

The storyline of this game was so touching to me, the final report really brought me to tears, it was so saddening....

heres what i think: i think the two flowers reperesnt him and kathryn, adn the reason he cannot talk to others is because before he met kathryn he didnt talk to many people in the first place. and when he met her, all he did was talk to her and tell HER stories, and when she died, he didnt have anyone to talk to, and like what Kanacali said, i agree the green "door" symbolizes the box in which kathryn was lain, and i think kathryn may have fallen? becuase of the level when they when she falls, or maybe thats him putting her in the grave, i am unsure, but thats just my oppinion, everyone has a righ to their own, this is an amzing game. very touching and moving, very sad when he has nobody left in the end, 5/5

this was one of the most boring games i've ever played. the story-line was close to non-existant, and anyone claiming otherwise is insane.

Just as KanaCali said, it's true, but with the mental illness issues...he could of murder her, but the rage of blindness or rage of tedious could of occur, but possiblity what humans can do is so unpredictable, killing, rape, torture, and other hazard towards human vs human can happen upon illness, but illness is another way to show our other self, the black and bland side of the heart...hypocrite, no, two face? no... split personality, could be...story has so many perspective, you just have to have an imagination....

I love this game, I always choke up a bit and cry a little... I only play it when I'm alone and am just in the company of myself

if you liked this game you should try braid. it's on steam, ps3 and xbox 360. it has the same melancholy feeling and it's a puzzle platformer :)

Very nice game, I would love to see harder levels.
Not necessarily levels that require more patient or timing but thought.
There's nothing like overcoming a really mind bending puzzle.
I like how every level has an elegant solution where's level 20 is just brute force ^^.

I just saw P.B. Winterbottom and it reminded me of this game. One of the developers is a psychology major too. I wonder if these two games have any relation?

This game has touched me in a way no other game has. Games like this and ImmorTall simply touch me in a way that nothing ever has, or will for that matter. Words cannot describe this game.

the story is so sad i couldnt stop crying for one day...... beating it was easy but the story was hard to concept. and i think to make it even more sad show the picture of the green box and 2 flowers at the end with something on it then say the end.

Has anyone every seen Primal Fear? He is not crazy, He killed Kathryn, and He doesn't want to get into trouble for it. You can tell this because at the very end if you wait till after the credits it says "The shrink leaves and suddenly I dont even have a person to tell my story to anymore." But the shrink says that he doesnt remember the shrinks visits? I could be wrong but i dont think so. Click the plus If u agree with me :)

This was the most touching game that I have ever played. It was challenging, but I wanted to know what the whole story was.I beat the the game, figured it out,and cried.

Wow this game has very good story telling. I felt like quitting because I couldn't do one or two but I kept going to see how it ends.

The concept of high rated gaming: You make a game somewhat sad or depressing, and most people will rate it 4 or 5 stars. It doesn't matter if the game has bad graphics or gameplay, it will still get good ratings. This is an exeption, so i'll give you 5 stars.
