Great game. Also, it shows how a good story can drive a game with a minimalist (but very nice) graphic approach. It doesn't need to be a sad story, in fact I prefer funny stories for games, but the important thing is that it's a good story. The only think I don't like is that you are obliged to kill the girl. I think this is not cohesive with the storyline. Look: your are in the present time and, in fact, at the point when you kill the girl you are supposed to know better, and you only kill her in order to continue. This is not fair to the player, I think, and I guess this is the reason why some people fell sorry playing this game. I think that the death´s episode should appear as a flashback animation, in the same point, but without interaction from the player. In this way, you rememeber what you have done but don't repeat the mistake. Anieay 5/5

Sad story. The game provoked a very depressed response from me. Loved the imbrication between storyline and levels. Music is also amazing.

Okay here's a simple way to describe the game.
There was this normal man without a love. But he fell in love with a girl and accidentally killed her. He burries her under the flowers and doesn't allow himself close to anyone.
All the levels are chalenges in his life that he plays in his mind.
The story is the story he tells to a psycologist. The pyhchologist has little hope because every day the patient tells him the same story.

Very masterfully put together. Great storyline, great gameplay! Broadens the gamer's horizons, and teaches perseverance.

So sad. Jack found his soulmate and he had to kill her to move on. :'( There should be The Company of Myself 2 and it would be how Jack mets another girl in the very beginning and she stays alive the whole time

Such an amazing game, I really can't say more, I don't know what to think because I'm close to tears. :( But for those of you who are stuck on the final level, simply keep moving forward to the edge and jump, push space to repeat and keep doing this process. Eventually you'll land on top of your clones and you'll get higher and higher till you finally make it to the other side. Developer of this game, you are amazing! <3

A very meaning game indeed. This game not only enable us to train on our thinking skills, but also have a hidden meaning in it. I'm sure this is how some of us would feel, lonely. No one likes to be like that. Everyone deserve to be loved or to love. This game really, deserves our support and also an award. I love it. (:

Reading the comments I was wondering how a game could make everyone have so much emotion. After playing the game I completely understand. It is a briliant game. I love it.

I can't overstate the greatness of this game. It's a touching story combined with gameplay that feeds into and derives a lot out of the story. This, combined with the ambient music guiding it makes it a perfect story told through a game. Brilliant.

Great game and story. I love games built around stories and not vice versa. Asura's Wrath is another example of a great story built around a game. But to all the people saying that this is sad, it's a murderer pretending to be mentally ill to get out of prison. That's just my take anyway. 5 stars.
