there are few games with good music. There are few games that make really think about life and the game itself. And there are barely any games that combine the two to give you an unforgettable and memorable experience.

Just finished the game and I'm in tears.. I knew this would make me cry! But I love it, it's brilliant. And the music is exceptional! There need to be more games like this one!

Can anyone PLEASE help me with the level that says, "What? Don't go yet. I have more to say. I really do"? I am stuck on this level and I would appreciate the help.

Whew, nevermind folks. I managed to make it! It took a lot of clones jumping off the ledge like suicidal maniacs but I managed to make a bridge for my current self to just jump across my ragdolls. You may negative my message(s) if you so desire. I'm just happy I got to beat this game.

Urgh, that last level is unbelievably hard for me. I've tried at least 2 or 3 different tactics. Someone who DID beat the game, could you please send me a strategy PM? Provided I still can't find the way to? (Just assume I haven't) Please and thank you.

if your ask me, the story goes like this, starting at the game just like what kanacali had said, its was a visit to the Psychologist. As the story goes on, this man met his true love,Kathryn, and everything seemed perfect after that.they helped each other, just like how u wud control both of them. until when suddenly, Kathryn died and he didnt know what happened.from that day onwards, he cant help but thinking of her. he cant face people like he used to, and gradually he got depression over her. this story is really amazing, touching and sad.

"The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore." I think he is sane but he was so broken by Kathryn's death that he just let go of all the things that ties him to the real world making people believe that he's not in the right mind.

You're able to complete the level with the man with Black Hat (try to tell me you don't think xkcd when you see him) dying as long as one of his past selves / shadows lives to touch the door. For the final level it is very likely that your current self will die when you complete it, unless you have extraordinary timing. I don't know what this means for the story.
I like the game mechanic, and I'd love to see it fleshed out into a more substantial game even if it comes at the cost of elegance.

By golly, I think Shutter Island must have stole this to use in the movie!
Quick somebody tell the game author so he can collect royalties!

There is a handful of vaguely interesting concepts here, but the majority of the puzzles are short and unsatisfying. And call me cynical all you want, but the story is a blatant trip on the Braid "so sad and deep story" bandwagon. If you want a game to actually stir some thoughts and/or emotions, take a look at Time Kufc. It manages to make an emotional impact without resorting to the cliche'd "my girlfriend died/left me and now I am sad" story. Plus it actually has good game design to back it up. This feels less like an actual game and more like a tryhard attempt to appear deep on the author's part. 2/5, let the downvoting commence.

*sniff* THAT WAS... great. Wow. *sniff* I thought it was beautiful and of course the fact that it's short and simple helps. Games can be more than just mindess killing; they can convey a message and be beautiful as well. Now if you'll excuse me... I need some *sniff* tissues. 5/5.

Wait, I'm a little confused. For some reason, I completed the level with both Kathryn and the man dying. Is this a bug? or is this something else? Please don't rate down, I just want an answer.

they allready do have a section if you click "add and vote on tags" this is labled as a "philisophical" game so just click on that link

i know that as soon as i post this it's gonna be hidden due to a crapload of negative votes. but is this really worth crying over? it's true that i do have little capacity for sadness, but still, not something worth crying about to me.

very good game, struggled a bit on a couple levels but its not too difficult when you get the hang of it. made me think, but never to the point of frustration. 5/5
