This is the first time I felt compelled to comment on a game, and it truely is the first time the childish 6/5 feels just... right, considering some of the games I gave 5/5 ratings to. Simply put, 6/5.

This game is a poignant, beautiful, and surreal post-modern masterpiece. I am in awe when I consider how each level is an allegory for Jack's tragic story. The final level is the most powerful of all, as you consider how you might leap across what appears to be an impassable abyss. I won't give it away, but the solution is a beautiful portrait of what it feels like to be in the very depths of despair.
I'm a huge fan of surrealism, so when I saw this game, it instantly reminded me of "The Son of Man," by Rene Magritte. The painting shows a man in a bowler hat wearing a suit with a red tie standing in front of a cloudy backdrop of the sea. What people most remember about the painting, however, is the iconic green apple obscuring the man's face. Maybe it's the colors used in this game, but it really reminded me of that. Gorgeous game. I would love to see more like these.

It is such a sad story, but I love the fact that the art direction is not that dark, which kind of triggers more sadness of contradiction :)

Does anyone else have major trouble figuring out the level that says, "And now I find myself alone. I can't handle talking to people anymore." ? :l

I saw this game on the puzzle page and thought that it would just be another fun game to play for 5 or 10 minutes. However this game has to be the most moving I have ever seen, the gameplay and general original idea of it are awesome. The storyline is like a virtual novel and I would never have thought the game could have been so deep and meaningful. I must praise the developers and hope that there can be more quality games in the future.

This is an excellent game; it not only has an engaging and thought-provoking storyline but is also very satisfying and relaxing to play, having no time limit. The graphics are excellent and the levels well made. Top marks, I wish Kongregate had more games like this.

this game truly does have a remarkable story for a flash game... pity a pre-emptive glance at the comments ruined the story completely. I have to say i'm actually quite pissed off about this. please stop rating up the spoilers people. vote up if u agree and wish people would stop rating up the spoilers

Beautiful game. the story was great, very moving, an the gameplay was innovative and thought evoking. one thing i'd like to say is the last level is a little confusing, trying to get across the chasm. not a bad thing, cause in the end i did do it, but took me a while.
