ugh so much mixed emotions. The fact of placing real life stories into a game, and a great extended metaphor. It's so sad, but so true, this happens to people everyday. People lose their loved ones, and they feel it's their fault, which can cause them to snap. And the fact that it was someone so close, i wouldn't be able to bear it. That girl was all he had.... Even though he said he can't talk to much people, at the end it says something like "the guy never comes anymore, i dont have anyone to tell my story to" that and the psychologist said "he tells me the same thing everytime as if we never met." This one game, made me cry, not just from the sadness, but the fact that it could happen to everyone :(

An art game that doesn't default on the art of its message as an excuse for game play . . . the game play (which is perfect) syncs up with the story beautifully, and the music is astounding. A great game. 5/5

I find this to be without exaggeration the greatest game i have ever played in my life. it was also the first game that made me feel an emotion other than frustration.

At the end when he says that the shrink leaves. It implys that he really does remmember the shrink.Does that mean he just thinks him self to dangerous?
Best story in a game ever.
Deep Game

The story line is fantastic. This is an example of a game here on kong that hasn't just had time put into it, but also a lot of thought. It's a rare find. The music adds the final touch, and really helps define the relationship between the player and the character. I have a feeling most are enjoying this more because of the immersion then the gameplay (which, because this is a review, only took about 5 mins to get through, though I guess this is more then just gameplay). If you enjoyed this game, I highly recommend "Don't Look Back". Same idea as this and just as touching.

I can't get past the first level with the wall blocking my way. The switch down at the bottom (or whatever that is) isn't doing anything

This is a story about a hermit. It features art by Luka Marcetic (c404.net) and music by David Carney (dvgmusic.com).

I usually don't post comments for Kongregate games, but i couldn't resist saying how much this game has touched me... it so reminds me of Braid! It's simply incredible! I really appreciate when puzzle-platformers get this creative. It took some time to see the connection between gameplay elements and the story, but when everything finally clicked into place, it was wonderful! The last screen persisting gives it a surprisingly deep touch! The storyline side of games should be explored more, so we could enjoy more gems like this! 5 stars!

of note were the two flowers that he planted next to the makeshift grave.
He considers her death to be the reason that he cant talk to people anymore. I suppose that in a way, he is correct.
This will be my final report on Jack. I dont find any reason to believe that he will recover from his current state of sever mental illness, and he is far too dangerous to himself and others to allow his release.

I've been tasked with psychonalizing Jack after his mental breakdown. In general, he recalls his life very accurately--The things he says line up with all of the records.
The first problem is that he doesnt seem to remember any of my visits.I've talked with him once a week for the past eight years, and he always tells me the same things as if we have never met before.
He describes himself as a loner, and this makes a whole lot of sense,as he has been kept in solitary confinement for the duration of his stay at the hospital.
He always briefly talks about his life, and eventually gets into the story of how he lost a loved one, Kathyrn.
He understands that she has died, and he certainly feels at least somewhat responsible, but he doesnt recall that he murdered her. She was found buried in their backyard in a green package--Evidently, it was the only box large enough for use as a coffin that Jack could find. Also

deff need a sequel, super awesome concept, but not challenging enough, like with the check points and the limited mans, there weren't enough different levels for those! I definitely want to see more!
