"The shrink leaves, and I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore." WHY???? WHY OH WHY DID SHE HAVE TO DIE???? SHE WAS THE ONLY HAPPINESS IN HIS LIFE!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!:'-( x like one billion trillion million billion(and one)!!!

The ending was very sad and who thought that he really did remember about the shrink (mentioned by ruthole) that he reported that he always spoke about the same thing over and over again about his life and Kathryn. It was a very sad ending.

Kanacali - Jack says himself that he was responsible for her death. He may not have murdered her outright, but something happened that made Jack cause her death. She did not die a normal death.

I'm just checking out the Kongregate games and came upon this one. How intriguing! I've never played anything like this. Requires a lot of patience.

The story was very sad. Made me very teary. I really hope that they make a sequel. Kongregate should make an area for games with stories.

Poor Jack... i mean ya, Kathryn died from him, but it's not like he wanted to kill her... In the prequel it explains that he takes meds, and those meds were tough stuff and it eventually drove him insane... To me, that sounds like the saddest possible thing ever. To unwillingly kill the love of your life... i can't help but actually cry every time i play this, listen to the music, and write this right now... Truly amazing game... the music was probably what made it so sad T-T

Its sad on how that the human mind doesn't understand the most complex of them all. Including how the psychologist doesn't get Jack. And Jack's mind is so complex, but the guilt of killing Katheryn held his life back.

I think it'd be clever for Jack to say "but I'm glad you stayed around" as a pun (sort of) of how the player stayed after the credits, and how he stayed around to listen to Jack.

He is keeping to himself because of his girlfriend's death. He goes to the green box because he does not like open spaces and doesn't feel safe. The falls remind him that death is a possibility. The pink forcefields say that if he tries again, it will not work the second time. The green forcefields say he must try multiple times to achieve something. He feels that he can work better by himself, though he must learn to work with himself. He feels vulnerable out in the open (it mentions this in the irritatingly spacious level.) The last level is a reminder that he must jump into empty space and hope for the best. This game makes perfect sense if you think about it.
