Description

Descend through 12 randomly generated dungeon levels to retrieve the Goblet of Yendor! JRogue is a challenging roguelike game focused on tactical combat and item use. 27 unique items and 9 enemies demand a careful consideration of each and every move.

How to Play

JRogue is completely mouse driven. Click tiles to move, attack, open doors and pick up items. By clicking your character you can opt to pass a turn. Items in your inventory can be used or equipped by clicking on them.

Great pixel game. Intuitive, easy to start, somewhat intense, plenty of tactics.
A few suggestions: food should read "removes hunger", not "restores." For a bit more realism, waiting should burn fewer calories than walking. Swimming should burn more. Needs a catchier title. Bug: My list of deaths repeated one of the deaths. Sometimes there are doors next to the green vines that have no walls around them.

I love how the series has progressed so far since this game. It's not exactly "Rogue Fable" but they were definitely based on this game.

Well... And It's like that I've discovered a weird property of lightning scrolls... Used on lava, it transform it to normal floor.

Finished it on my fourth try. Awesome game, reminds me of Kanji Adventure.
