This reminds me a lot of "The Cube Escape" series. Same animation, concept, etc. but those games are made by Rusty Lake. Is Abroy and Rusty Lake partners or something?

I am not sure if I am right or wrong but looking at this person's uploads, they may just be posting other people's games, (hopefully with permission). I do not think they created all of the games they posted.

if ONLY i knew the correct time, then MAYBE this game would be playable. There is NO way for you to find out the correct time to use on the clock, at least not for me.

This game's art, puzzles, and theme are nearly identical to the Cube Escape games. Are you associated with Rusty Lake in any way? If not, it would be nice if you added their name to your description, so others can play what inspired you.

"Feels like cube escape" because it is Cube Escape. That fish is the exact same sprite used in "Cube Escape: Harvey's Box". Wonder why Dev released under different name..

This is the "prequel" of Cube Escape, look at the upload time of both Cube Escape and Samsara Room. Maybe the same developer did it and wanted to expand it as a series, but use different name, which change the game name to "Cube Escape"

Beacker I disagree with what you said. Not your interpretation but how it compares to Western culture and reward. Many games are about gathering money and material possessions but in the best games these are the means to a goal. Elona Shooter is about you defending a village from monsters by shooting them as they cross a field. Getting better weapons and subordinates is a big part of the game but the only things that transfer from one game to another is achievements displayed in the Museum. The defense of the town and the recording of history are the goals of the game; money is the means.
Think about the childhood stories you learned as a toddler. These stories reveal what society's core values are. Aladdin ends with the hero marring the princess. This is not done because of her wealthy; the movie showing how this is vain and hollow, leading to a pathetic existence (think of the suitor at the very beginning who losses his undergarments).

I had to use the walkthrough to help me for most of the game...I don't feel enlightened but it was a meaningful game when you think of its ulterior purpose.

so i was being an idiot. I was completely stuck after the window part. Then I opened the drawer and saw the fish. Of course. Fish solve problems xD

For those of you who are complaining about the ending...I looked up the meaning of "Samsara" and it makes more sense to me now. Samsara is a concept in some eastern religions: it is the passage of life and of the soul, of reincarnation, dawn and dusk. It's an endless cycle, and the goal of some of these eastern religions is to "break free" of this cycle by achieving "enlightenment." The phone at the beginning said to "search for enlightenment." You reincarnated into creatures over and over until you were able to "escape" the room, which was like breaking free of the cycle. it's a particularly westernized idea to be rewarded with money and stuff at the end of a game, but this game is very eastern in philosophy. See, the goal was not to get cake or rewards for escaping the room. Escaping the room itself, by achieving "enlightenment" (the ultimate state of mind according to those religions) was the goal all on its own. P.S i stole it from a guy name beacker1160

Very intresting, I looked up the meaning and found the game very intresting. The music gave some of it away, it's a religious song. Samsara means the cycle of death & rebirth of the soul. That is what each animal represents a small part of the cycle. You are the soul in the new bodies. The box would be considered as the Samsara that takes you to a new mind and body. Thats my look of it anyways.

I feel enlightened, too, after playing this. Seriously good game, made me think. One of the few games I would give the full 5 stars to.

The egg (bird): Birth. The gecko: Life. The fish: Death. The caterpillar: Rebirth. Also, the dead body inside the clock was the main character itself, if I'm not wrong. Such an amazing game.
