To bad the dev made premium content, this game could win the week or monthly kongregate competition for best game and get rewarded with some good $$$$$$ , since the dev made his decision about made premium content, players have they rights to dowvote it to 1/5.
It's not childish at all , everyone have they rights to express they own opinion.

Dear dev, dear kongregate, I paid the 10 bucks to get me everything. And now I am not able to do the challenge at 3.4 because I am practically invincible. Inventium gives me tons of healths, killing enemys gives me health and I got medpacks en masse flying at me. Each of those gives me loads of health because of another perk. So how am I supposed to get my health below 25% for the challenge? Maybe a "switch off" for the perks could do the trick...

Great game! Wish i could run better :P Quality toggle maybe? When there are more than like 3 enemies on screen i start lagging.

That attack was nullified. As such, it did not make contact. Since I was not harmed or damaged, I can expect my combo to be okay and my horribly overpriced guns to continue being affordable, yes? No. Not at all. And that pisses me off. If an attack is nullified or blocked it should, in fact, not reset the combo.

I *hate* having to pay for games. This is why my only console purchase was an SNES. But this game is getting a bad rap for its pay wall. Without a doubt, this is one of the biggest shooters I've played on Flash. And, unlike a lot of similar games, the newgame+ feature actually kept me coming back. Just playing the same game, but with slightly harder enemies, always seemed rather dumb to me. But being able to get further upgrades to already seemingly overpowered weapons made the replay exciting and fun. The game itself is more than complete, and to imagine that there are more features that I can pay for boggles my mind. This isn't an issue of shipping out an incomplete game and you are expected to foot the bill for the rest of it; this is fully-formed, replayable, and enjoyable. 5/5, and great job!!

Give the coil caster wayyy more ammo... It is the slowest gun to level up. Make the randomizer stronger and make it easier to fire up in the air with it. Try and make some more gadgets and add them to the game. And the hubbub over premium stuff can be solved by making achievements actually do something.

Okay, my instinct was to give 1/5 for the same reasons as everyone else; premium content on what we perceive as a free site is irritating. That said, this game is a quality piece of work, and I can see the logic in giving it 4/5 since 80% is free and 20% is premium. Even that, though, feels unfair; if the game had come out with only the free content and I never knew the difference, it would've been a 5/5 without hesitation, so that's what it should get.

Makes me wonder why people cry about premium content. The game itself is fun and addicting even without those items. And it's completely up to you whether you should pay or not, i'd rather spend some money here and support the developer than pay for one of those "next gen" crappy games.
I read them all, but they are coming in huge bulks now so I mostly respond to those that immediately makes me think of an answer or I could be doing this all week.

It seems there are a lot of comments related to the premium content. I really think the ideal kind of system is Realm of the Mad God. That's a system where the premium content really is completely optional: pets, keys, ways to color your character, vault space, new character slots, yet people get hooked to the game so much that they pay for these things anyway. All the things are aesthetic and the ones that aren't have alternative ways to get them with the exception of vault space and an extra character slot, which is purely about extra space for content rather than restricted content that cannot be experienced at all otherwise. I'm not sure how applicable that is to an offline game, but a system that allows the patient player to experience all the content but allows payment to speed things up might upset far less people and improve the chances of people actually paying for it.
I think it would be very hard to monopolize on only aesthetics with a newly released IP. You need regulars and something that's already huge in score, which VU isn't.

4/5 for the striking similarity to madness interactive, one of the best side scrolling shooters made. the missing star is to to premium content. i hate having to pay for stuff in a flash game

great to have the QWERTZ keyboard option! I cannot tell you how annoying it is sometimes when I have to change my language settings just to accommodate the Qwerty setting. kudos to you!

My best suggestino to you: A trial. You give to people the gun, but they can only use it in one place that would be something like a firing range, so we can try the guns and pick what we want. Also, just a tip: You can make A LOT, A LOT of money by adding ads to your game, and them adding kongregate API and making of kongregate your home. You don't need to make a p2p game to have money.

1/5 for the money grubbing. It would be different if you had made it a more reasonable price or just gave us the full game. If people like it they would have donated. To me this game is crap as well. Got Civ 5 for $10 during the holidays. I donate to child's play for the humble bundle. Make a good game and you will get paid.

Game is somehow fun but not enough, i think all those "buy for more upgrades" dont add any interest to the game... At least make something that is worth spending our money...? D:

I can't complete the challenge on the first section of Gizma, the 2nd planet. The challenge is to complete the level without taking 30 damage. I've done it taking 0 damage, but I'm not getting credit for the challenge. Help!

I have no problem with the premium features. If every premium feature were removed from the game, it would still be a 4/5+ calibre game. 5/5.

i dont see where all this premium hate is coming from. just complete two surveys or whatever and u got the free kreds to buy the whole pack
Ducking? Aren't you a real man?! THEN TAKE YOUR BULLETS TO THE CHEST LIKE A REAL MAN!!!... Anyway, I decided to exclude ducking because it slows down the pace of the game. :)

I don't see the complaint of premium content here. It's completely optional. It's not necessary for the game, in as much to have cool shit. It's not like a lot of these MMO's where you either pay or have to wait around for days at a time. Besides, you can get the premium stuff for free on Bubblebox. Kudos to you sir for making one hell of an awesome game! 5/5!

This is an awesome game. What some people don't understand that even though 20% is buyable, what is free to play is much better than other games! 10/4
I really enjoy how powerful these weapons feel, great job.

Awesome game! I usually just play games for multiplayer ownage or badges but I enjoyed this enough to get all the in game achievements :) I don't understand all the rage regarding the kreds part of the game. It's still very enjoyable without purchasing a thing.

i found a bug in 2nd paradox in stage 1.3 i kept doing black holes and suicide + retry and my multiplier didn't go down between retry's

The best level to earn inventium is the last level on the 2nd planet where you are being chased by a grinder.
Simply keep going right and the grinder will take care of the enemies.
If you are in Parasox mode, this is also the best way to get the "get 20 paradox multiplier" achirvrmrnt

I wouldn't mind giving $2 or $3 for unlocking ALL content, but 5 buck per extra campaign or 10 for the 3 is just greedy. I've bough KOTOR on steam for 5 bucks and even if your game is good it's not KOTOR. I realize you guys got to eat but you really should be asking the player to choose how much he want to give you for it, if they enjoy your game people will be generous.
I liked Necronator, i gave 5 buck for it even if i could get the premium content for one but i won't give you a cent because asking for $10 for extra content is just way too much. As you said it's only 20% of the game so that would mean the full game would worth $50, more than Skyrim... I don't think so. Plus i'm sure you get a lot of money from ads and contests.
Your game worth a 4 for me but you lost 1 point for your attitude, there is a lot of better games out there that don't ask for a cent.
I'm not saying that to be mean, take it as a marketing advice.
I had already planned to try another pricing strategy in my next game. I felt that I had to do both so I could determine the best price range. The current prices are mostly as they are by looking at other games with premium content (didn't know about Necronator).
