the good thing is that the premium content is free. the bad thing is that is it being advertised for another site, which kind of draws attention away from kong, like "hey dont play here, play over there cause its better"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its like a curse, if you put premium content in your game people will get mad. ¡¿ whats wrong with you people?! just ignore the damn premium content!!!!

Very nice game, premium content is annoying but I understand its purpose and it doesn't take much away from the game playing without it. A couple things that would be nice is a counter that shows your progress on challenges; I found it annoying that I couldn't see how much damage I took in the less than 30 damage challenge. Also a level progress meterwould be great.

I can't stand people complaining about premium content. Indie game devs need to get a start somewhere.
Also, yeah, the game is blatantly influenced by R&C, but so what? It is a fun concept, so why not implement it? Also, @edennov, did you happen to see what the special costume in the relics menu was? I haven't seen it either, but I do believe he gave it credit through that.
Rate the game for how good it is, not for whether or not you like the dev or the dev's marketing plans.

I see a game like this, loaded with constant in-your-face "give me money" signs, and I can't help but compare it to the literally thousands of other games, on this site alone, that are just as fun if not more-so, that are also 100% free. What incentive would anyone have to pay for 20% of one fairly short game, when there's an absolute glut of great free games to spend time on instead? And, as others have mentioned, why should I pay for 20% of an amateur flash game when I can buy a full professionally-developed game for the same price? Honestly, when you put yourself into a such an over-saturated market, you need to be aware that overcharging for your content is going to make a significant portion of your potential customers view you as greedy and unlikable, even with the "fund my future projects" idea behind it.

I am going to be honest and say the Final Deathwish was much better (not in all areas, though). I liked getting additional perks for completing challenges and I believe there were more perks in general. The game was also less linear, as you could complete certain levels that were off the track. There were actual gadgets with passive abilities and you could wear more of them. There were more types of armour with actual additions. All in all, if you're going to make a similar game, I'd suggest taking some advice from your former game. I like being able to level your weapons to 10 after completing the campaign once, and I like the several new additions of perks and weapons, though.
There were more perks in TFDW many of them were also duplicates. The perks you got from challenges were so minor that they were neglectable. The current challenge reward is there to build tension (what is the secret weapon?!). I can understand that you miss the multiple paths but I thought it was somewhat gimmicky and didn't really anything substantial. Finally, regarding the gadgets: Passive bonuses are already provided though perks, it's silly to have 2 separate systems that does the same thing. Which is also why armor only protects against damage.

In the first 'Deja Vu' scene (the ones where the protagonist says something about recognizing something), I saw something in scandinavian, but I hit Space too fast and couldn't read it.
Anyone know what it said? (I'd provide a translation for those non-norwegians who wish to read it)

eden, you may not want to hear it, but im gonna say it anyway. ALL games are inspired by other games. there hasnt been an original concept in decades. i do not like very many twinstick shooters, but i gotta give this game credit. while i think the premium content is not worth buying in the slightest, this is a solid game. i was hard on it at first but ive come around. its a 5

Side note: If you complete all chalenges as you go, you will get the second medium badge before the first medium badge - last challenge is already completed.

Hitman, people don't want to pay $5 for 20% of a game when they already get 80% for free. They would much rather buy star wars KOTOR which has 10 hours of gameplay, or 10-15 for final fantasy XI, which also has loads of gameplay. The fact is, $5 in't much, but we want to get the best off our hard earned cask.

As many others mentioned, this game is highly influenced by the Ratchet & Clank series. I'm giving this 4/5 because there was no credit given (at least none that I've seen)... And don't try to tell me that R&C stole from others who stole from others, Mr. developer, the resemblances can't be coincidental: 1) after killing the final boss, the options to either go back in time or start "new game+" . 2) The weapons ideas, the fact that they have levels, the last of which gives a new ability, AND the fact that after the game ends, the level cap increases. And so on and so on...
It's not a coincidence and it's public knowledge that R&C inspired me. I just took the most functional concepts and made them my own, which every other game in existence has done. The only difference is that I took features from a game that is very unique and thus easier to pin-point the origin of.

As a keen gameplayer, both flash + "real" games, I like this game, not exactly original but still, it's a good game. However, the money earning, a lot of people have commented on this, but as you're looking into a new payment scheme, look at something like Senatry ( money-grabbing game which a lot of people dislike ) but I agree with the normal money and "gold"
You earn a reasonable supply of gold, meaning nothing is "premium" content, however, by buying the gold, you can have some advantages over other players, such as faster unlocking / so on / so on. I personally spent 10$ on it, as I play it frequently. But otherwise, good game + I hope next time you'll use a different payment scheme.

5/5. I don't see why people are saying that the premium content leaves a greedy impression, I mean, you're getting an awesome game for free, and this guy has spent alot of time on it. He deserves something for it, and hey, if you don't want to pay, that's fine too, just don't complain.

Very nice game, and the premium stuff doesnt bother me, since I can still get the badges without it. If the badges were premium only however... =P
Kept me busy for a few hours, thankyou =)

I couldn't help but laugh when I got the achievement for blowing up the gnome chompski. I had to google it so see if people would get the pun and I hadn't realized it was a meme. Google was also smart enough to come up with a link to the wikipedia page with the proper spelling of his name.

@arkuni
i read your response, but it's still weird to click on a button that says ''free premium'' (on bubble..something) and get a pop up asking for mochi coins.

Another thing I will toss into the air is adding a final graphic update for getting a weapon to level 10. (As the graphic evolution is my favorite part of the game, seeing them not change after lvl 5 Was a downer.

The game rating below 4 is 3.76 and now got badge?Wow that's unfair for other games who have above 4 rating and no badges added.

I really like this game. Unfortunately, I don't have money to spare, and I don't think I'll have. And all that advertisement are just making me feel more out of place...

Don't see why people are complaining about the having to pay bit, as it doesn't effect getting Kongregate achievements and the 80% of the game you can play is full of hours of fun.. very good game in my opinion and would love to see another (:
