The game laggs up horrifically on slower machines, and since the bombs and "last shot time out" mechanics both work on actual timer rather than the speed of the flash, your bombs can explode before ever getting on the same screen as the enemy castle, or possibly fail the mission while your rocks are an inch away from clobbering someone in the head.

should change that 3 second countdown after your last shot. There have been a few times that the building fell and killed everyone right as the countdown ended and it said I failed the level.
