I was stuck for quite a while before I realized that I had to kill that one robot in order to get a necessary item (the jet pack).
I had to use a Walkthrough to figure it out; before I just ran past him.

Could we get a low-quality version for those of us who like to keep way too many tabs open or torrent or whatever? Dash Pads don't work when the game doesn't register your doubleclicks half the time due to CPU Usage being maxed out.

Brilliant. And headphones really do add to the effect. Kind of scary in a, something-is-definitely-not-right-here, kind of way, rather than a, omfg-this-thing-is-going-to-jump-out-of-the-screen-and-kill-me, kind of way. 5/5

@2CATteam: This is very similar to Metroid, you just have to compare it to the first few games in the series, which were platformer-shooters. Try 'em out, they're very popular. As for the "s," maybe it stands for secret....
This game is very well made. It actually sets itself up very well for a sequel that could take place earlier on in the story. Controls are smooth, the story is intriguing, and I like the overall concept. Nice job.

two things:
1. you collect an 's' during the game. That does not fit in any where in 'kind of like metroid'.
2. I do not find this to be anything like Metroid, especially Other M.

Yeees.. Yeeeeees.. I were out after the card challenge, but the game didn't start. A KongreGate error came on every game, all the time.. Today, the card challenge is over, and i can play games again. Fml.

@powerofwhy you cant jump while ducked, that spot is meant to be only accesed from the other side, it helps you escape at the end.

Besides firing at tiered doors, entering nooks to get gear that lets you into crannies, and dealing with baddies crawling on your platforms, the entity opposite you is a Mother. Yes, it's a Metroid tribute.

@Rampaginger, the level 3 plasma cannon you recently accquired will destroy them. Hold the "up" key while shooting to fire straight up.

Judging from the mother's comment in the beginning:

I'd say this poor robot/boy thing has been repeating this cycle for a while. It really is like she says. You can escape the facility, but you'll never escape her...
