The game, Somehow describes the Metroid series greatly, Obviously you however start off with nothing but basic movement. Nothing but that, as you rise up, You become more powerful. And eventually theres the point of escape, This is a great reference to the Metroid series.

As a response to Jonnywonkaz and cevgar.... yes there are people who don't try to get the 'heart of gold' because it's not immediately obvious that you can shoot upwards. Also, you can't just take all the time you want when you do take the heart of gold and get the timer. After the timer is out, you stop being invulnerable and its very hard to make the last jump to safety without ending up with your body staked to the pins there. And if you do die, you have to start over from the point where you got the heart of gold. Which is a long way to walk.

If you get 100% items, you get a secret message, which is at the end before you escape. All the letters spell out "It's Kind of Like Metroid". Which is also what K.O.L.M. stands for. Awesome game. :)

Glitch... I think. I had just spawned and was invincible, and got to the next area without getting everything on this level... and I can't get back...

That was a good game. The pixel graphic was actually pretty nice, the jump and run was fun and the story simple but yet incredible, thanks for the play!

i was wondering what will come if I don't escape in the time allowed, so on the exit, I stop and wait... And I see the escape chrono go in the negative...

Slow control system made it difficult to keep playing, great story made it difficult to stop.
Also, best scoring system ever. YOU GOT 8000 PTS!! *ultimate champion lights flash* Oh.... whats this? You did not complete the game in 0 seconds? MINUS PTS!!! YOU HAVE 4000 PTS!!!! *Good Job!* You died? More than once? MINUS PTS!!! You have 2000 points... loser.

lol - apparently the way to get a good highscore is to accidentally leave yourself logged in to this game overnight and finish it when you wake up. - scores for the win!

Great game. I hope it gets badges. I was entertained. Loved the end part. Robot wants to not disappoint/wants to remember/wants to not die in a blazing inferno. Will have to play through again to pick up all the letters.

Leaving without getting the core is the same ending, just no revaltions. Getting out of the bottom floor is hard, if you have every upgrade its just timing the elevator right and I still don't understand it.

Loved it. You never figure out all of what happened, but you get to think of what happened for yourself. The message at the end -- classic. I laughed.
