These are probably dumb questions, but I am just a noob looking for advice, so please don't - this comment. How do you break the purple barriers? If there is a gun that shoots purple bolts, where is it?

did anybody notice the strange resemblance to metroid? u go around picking up upgrades and u shoot blue door things to open them. theres the item completion percent, the way the map works, and differing scenery. total metroid rip off but fun

loved the game, absolutely beautiful artwork style. though the game resembled some other side-scrollers, and the story has been done before, it's never been combined into one and I for one think you did it perfectly. Lol and btw, you can figure out the message at the end without getting all the pieces =)
anyway, 5/5 for sure. Keep up the good work!!

This game is freaking creepy...but strangely awesome plot line, at least, from how i see it, correct me if im wrong, but the robot your playing as had two parents, and he killed them for some reason or another and his mom and himself were ressurected, the son as a robot, and the mother as something akin to Big Brother but can talk, and the son is in some screwy facility and his mother is telling him to collect all his body parts to make him powerful enough to take over the world and....well...the robot get out of the screwy facility and his mom is pissed at him....erm...D:

Really a beautiful game. It has all those elements that create a sleek plot along with generally new gameplay ideas every few minutes keeps the game lively. Also the atmosphere created was suspenseful yet you always wanted to find the next turn. Incredibly done! 100/5

umm, the game doesnt work for me, the words "K.O.L.M. A story about a lost robot" show up, with 4 bars underneath, I can't click anything and pressing buttons doesnt do anything, did I do something wrong?

There are games that we love for the gameplay, and games that we love for the art. You have done a fine job making a very engaging game, and really making the pacing right, even when we had to scootch across the ground, it really added to the atmosphere.
I didn't collect every secret, but I got enough tiles to discern the message.
It was an amazing game, but I gotta say...I was expecting K.O.L.M. to stand for something a little more profound. :)

I went through with out the heart of gold and it's not like the ending is magical <.< I really enjoyed the game 5/5, after all, it's kind of like Metroid.

If you skip the heart of gold the whole timer sequence is skipped entirely. If you get it, and live you have to escape before the timer runs out. And if you get it and don't escape in time the timer just goes negative and you don't die; which is quite interesting because could that mean that mother faked the whole explosion thing to make you get out of there so she can get the heart of gold? Anyway, 5/5 and faved.

Good game; but gets too frustrating when you go as far as you can go, then get blocked by something-- makes you go all the way back up, trying every possibility which can take 5 minutes out of the time you could be enjoying the game; making it very boring.

is the ending i got the only one? "you may be free of this house but you will never be free of me" "you're right..." the end
