The simple rule is, don't buy anything but the artillery. Everything else is a waste. You will do it in 11 days if you do this.

the game's broken, the guide that is posted works ONLY when you get lots of enemys in a round, some rounds you get less that avg enemys, that means less money, i've gone through a round perfectly and won on day 15 with only buying art and rusty nail... i've also won at 9 with only rusty nail and art, the game's broken, if you win with the guide it's luck, there is no mimimum of enemys which is a bad call on the game maker's part.

In my opinion, it's useless to develop better flames. You only need arty, and golden nail to achieve hard badge.

1:buy nothing. Day 2:research artillery.Day3:repair.Day4:upgrade flame.Day5:repair.Day6:repair up nail.day7: repair.day 8:repair.day9:repair twice.Day 10 repair.Day 11:reapair twice.
t have to repair ship during fighting at all, still 4000 short on the end of day eleven!

Just buy Artillery and Golden Nail to be sure to have enough money. ;)
Better fire/water won't help you much anyways.

Too much luck involved. I used DEFKID2's strategy and lacked about 1000. I was supposed to get only like 6000 money on the last 11st day, but suddenly no monsters came and I got just 5000. >__<
