Followed Failen's Guide, except I spent $500 repairing my ship. After day 11 I was 4k short of the badge. Just a warning, if you buy golden needle, there's a decent chance you won't finish in time.

The game would probably be twice as popular if it had better graphics (I mean look at those clouds!) and better controls. But overall it's pretty fun.

13 day completion, just upgrade powers by turret spawner and mortars then just keep buying health and repair, + to help out others

To get the hard badge, I followed the strategy of only buying the golden nail and the artillery. I finished repairs at the end of day 11 with ~$3500 left to spare, so you could probably also afford to upgrade the water or the flames, but not both (I recommend the water). YMMV.

the idea for the game is great. the fact that you have to hold and drag all weapons repeatedly gets annoying very fast. rule for a good game: make it fun with controls that make sense.
in this case, the controls are a handicap, which i consider makes the game not even worth it.

I find it wierd how when bombs get dropped on the ship,huge ballons and goos attack it it stays intact and only the health drops.Anyways enjoyed playing the game so 5/5.

Neat game, but the controls make it nigh-impossible on a laptop with all the different ways needed to kill enemies. One single day reduced me from an untouched ship to a destroyed ship. No save feature makes this frustrating.

I really don't like swearing, but quite frankly, the hit detection on for the nail is bullshit. Other than that, great game.

WOW THIS GAME IS AMAZING!
Not really, it's absolutely dire. Who dreams this rubbish up? The only 'pirate' thing about it is the fact you're repairing a pirate ship. All this to get the limited edition pirate badge? No thanks Kong, I think I'll give it a miss...
