Although battling with the controls was sometimes a pain (my booty for weapon hot key) and it was frustrating that snipers wasted ammunition shooting iron balls I was already throwing, I liked that you had to actually move the nail in the direction of the pointy-end to pop things... and I grinned when they made "Armor Games" walk the plank at the end.

The Hard badge should be impossible (at least). I just retried with only buying artillery and never reached enough money to repair by day 11.

How is the hard badge even possible? The only things I spent money on were gold nail and artillery but I ended up $1700 short from finishing repairs (and nothing escaped or damaged the ship).

The controls don't really always function. Sometimes I'm dragging the nail all over those blobby things and nothing happens. It's like the hitbox is 1px by 1px or isn't there at all sometimes.

Some hints - Upgrading water and fire is important as they make the fire and bacon things die instantly
golden nail (rusty nail upgrade) is important when hot air balloons come into play
sniper isnt that good so leave that and upgrade artillery and machine gun if i were you.

Listen to the top comments, plus the name of the hard badge is a clue... "consumer restraint" ... in order to get it you can't set out to get all upgrades... artillery and nail upgrades, no others. And those complaining about the controls... get over it! There are no issues, they function, they're just different than you're used to...

I love this game! It's really difficult when the airships come out, but is really playable when you get the golden nail and the pirate snipers.

This can be a good game if the controls are improved. I thought my head would burst by the effort I was putting in the controls..

Nice game, quite addicting once you become used to it. The reason because I give 4/5 is because there is no hotkey for "weapons".

crappy control system ruined the game. no hotkeys and constantly have to switch weapons. Game is a total fail. developer should be boiled in acid.

One of the worst control systems I've seen, and where is the option to mute ALL of the sounds from the game? I had to mute the sound on the computer itself to turn the sound from the game off entirely.

Why not ht keys, would this game really good
why not hoykeys for the weapons?? Esp in the 1st levels u useally too late. Hope They have some good upgrades later on..
4, but for no 1/5 Perhaps it improves with better upgrades......

HOTKEYS. How, these days, can people make flash games where you have multiple weapons and no hotkeys for them. Abominable. Pretty fun game, just no hotkeys for some odd reason.... 2/5 for that -_-

I think each weapon should have a number correlation for faster reaction times, since one bad swarm will end you as early as day 4

The hard badge was frustrating due to RNG. The amount of money you can earn varies wildly. On one run, I needed 2 more repairs after day 11 after buying only artillery in case birds don't spawn. On a successful run, I had enough money left over to buy the rest of the upgrades at least once. Overall, the game hasn't aged well but it's fun when it's hectic.

This game just lost a load of vote points. Cause I've going via Failen's hint for hard badge (thanks, Failen.) That meant that I've only spent 6`000 cash on upgrades. And I've not even allowed _a single_ hit to my ship. 11th day, all cash spent, I still need 3 upgrades. Hiccup.

Can anyone explain how I have to use the nail for goo and balloons, water for fire things, fire for other things and so on, but my crew and cannons (when I recruit them) can magically hit anything?
Well, it could be a nice game, but the controls combined with the fact that weapons are so specialized make it simply infuriating, at least for me. 1/5
