okay, first game 13 days, second 12 days, and finally got 11 on the third :D I just upgraded rusty nail and got artillery, the rest are ineffective. I even risked not buying Ship Repair, ended with 12/100 health, never in much danger of dying, really. easy Hard badge, I must say.

7 th day, just 3 repair done and i've only bought artillery and never used it ...

Doing the same day for test, the first day I gain between 1228 and 2089 gold o_O
If all day give random amount of money like this, it's just crap

Oh wait, balloons are also affected by the artillery.... then only artillery is necessary, and although a bit more expensive to overuse, it's less than buying the golden nail. Oh, and for the game 4/5: only design, only too short and too easy.

For the hard badge, just upgrade the regular weapons and use artillery. Works wonders. Without the fire and water upgrade 10 or even 9 days is possible. Artillery and nail ARE necessary for the monsters and balloons respectively, died without the golden nail the first day balloons appeared. With some luck, the monsters are doable without artillery, making 8 days possible maybe: but artillery is very useful anyway.

Had played it before, so got the card and all the badges on the first game:
Only get the artillery upgrade (can get that on the first day already). Then put all cash in repairs, only get a bit more health if you mess up and the ship gets damaged. No max health though, nor other upgrades.

can't beat the hard-badge.. use snipers instead of cannons ?
birds are unreliable to work with.
but cannons disappera before next day at random

I'm very happy to have my 50 points + card in under 10 minutes. Was fun. I only bought artillery upgrade, all I needed to win in 11 days.

Pretty good game, quite fun, only problem I have is that it's not very clear *how* to escape the island, but I don't mind having to play it again for the last badge :) 4/5

Pretty good game, too short and easy though. Needs some more music or at least a mute button! Also the upgrades are way unbalanced. Also needs a storyline please. Would like a sequal 3/5.
