Machine Gunnners and Assault Troops are all you really need to win this on the British side. All of the other classes are nifty but ultimately useless.

cant beat the lvl where u get the tank..... my tank dies really fast and then my morale totally drops and my men give up.... sissies....

lol and yeah,one german just blocked 3 squards (assault and 2 infantry) and a tank for 10 minutes,maybe 15. needs balance.

sometimes tend to drag,but that's the usual fault of these sort of games. maybe would be better to make scenarios,like "defending from tanks" etc

seriously i had 4 tanks on last map.....1 directly over emeny last trench and they keep making troops who then run past the tank and into trench, i kill 8 enemy tanks and lose 1, then when my 1 squad are blown up by mines that explode only when your troops run over them i loose from low morale even though i still have 3 tanks in play to thier 1/2 a squad of soldiors.
shame the game should be ruined by a bug like that.

for me the last mission was only possible with only tanks which was the most fun bit

how doe a huge fricken artilery shell fly into a trench and not kill anyone! BUT of course when they do it to me, i lose all my guys!

the game needs balancing....i sent 1 assault team and that team destroyed a tank by themselves. the rest was done with artillery. To win easy, put points in rank 2 morale, then chuck the rest into artillery, spam it, win.

Getting to raid the last trench with 7 divisions, and 2 magical missiles appear, and i lost the stage for moral. yeah! 1/5

Good game but way too easy tanks are massively over powered to the point that soldiers become next to useless after lvl 7

This game has some bugs in it. I tried to start my campaign over. Went into the first battle. Hired two squads. Just as the second was getting in the trench, it said, "Ground lost. You lose the battle." How fun.

I take that back - it's not a piece of crap. However, it's extremely slow - and it catches up with you after the first play-through.
