also WWI was supposedly started when a serb shot the duke of Austria.
So the Austrains asked help from the Germans and the Serbs asked for the British to help. Later on Italy, Russia, Japan and USA got dragged into the war

i think its said how the human race makes and plays games like this. i must admit tho i do very much like these kinda games. but most games dont even portray the realities of war. this game gets close but no one will ever be able to experience war unless they take part in one themselves

As soon as I finished this game; Do not Stand at my Grave and Weep came on the radio. It brought me to tears; how brutal WWI was. This game is painfully honest with the stark truth.

It's a good game, but combat moves so slowly and sometimes your morale drops super quick and can make it hard to get anywhere. It kept the game from really being full-fledged. 3/5

on level 8 i had just killed all germans with gas, and were advancing towards the last trench when my only tank were destroyed by a mine. Not an enemy in sight and my army surrendered. LOL

well they didnt even really get blamed at all for WW1...The world was just scared of the power they just witnessed and never wanted it to rise up again...but they over did it and caused fury and that caused hitler+WW2
They shouldve done what they did when napolean was dethroned by the allied nations(lots of nations xP) they didnt over do anything there...infact they kinda helped france

Kinda slow and a little boring after awhile, prob cuz I dont really like army/military games..=P Other than that I suppose it was alright~

And NO Germans have not started ww1, although, they were a strong force on the war

The Germans were in an alliance with austria, and had to join in. They got blamed, so all u idiots out there believed the history books that blame the germans, so you have an excuse

well wrld war one was based around four nations germany,britain,america,and japan ...and yes germany did start it...OOO srry five nations russia too..germany tried to invade russia and russia fought back and asked britain for help..whil the japanese were fighting the americans over communist views soo..eventually britain and america allied russia cud hold off germany together america and britain defeated the japanese and then trned there forcs to the germans who wer defeated

The Germans didn't exactly start
WW1 because it was the assasination of Franz Ferdinand that kicked it off. Though the Germans were asking for a fight. No one started the war, there are no right awnsers.

A lot of you dumb people are getting this confused with world war 2. Seriously world war 2 was in the 1940s the name of the game is warefare: 1917. Yeah, you need to spend more time at school.
