-sees 3 tanks in a row- ok that's just cheating there all right next to eachother .... hehe troll time -places arterially, morters, and antitank right in the same spot and watches the pretty colors"haha yeah bitch"....after 20mins of back and forth I finaly beat the costom on hard with the enemy set to aggressive ,4 wire,5trenches,many mines,...basicly the hardest you can set it to and I still beat that ass xD

This game has great strategy...until tanks. Once you make tanks, just get every tank and anti-tank related upgrade, and do nothing but send tanks and save all artillery for their tanks. The art and sound is great in this game, but...tanks are too easy. 2/5.

Just beat it 2nd time. The way to win isn't to spam Riflemen - you just end up with blobs which if hit by a mortar/step on mine can lose you the game from morale loss. Instead focus all upgrades on support, have snipers to hold your first trench/machine-gunners/riflemen, then just pound the enemy into submission. Won the last level with 1 tank getting to the end using this tactic.

► ► ► The easiest way to beat this game and its sequel is often to spam either the 1st, or 2nd squad. In order to spam properly, you must build up 4 squads of units. Fill 1 trench with 3 squads, then send a 4th. As the 4th squad is leaving the trench (due to be too full), also send out the other 3 squads. This will create a devastating wave of units to be sent at the enemy all at once. Assault Soldiers (the 2nd unit choice) is better, but slower to get all 4. And sometimes the AI plays it smart and you get unlucky and an airstrike takes out too many of your soldiers, so the basic infantry is okay too. If you hear artillery coming in, it can be better to send all your units in just in case.

a good strategy to get the "win by conquest" badge is to have 3 units in your trench and keep moving guys out until you take the enemy trench.

Weirdest glitch- an infantry squad left 1 man by my trench, and then ran over top of everything else without stopping. I had a full trench of germans with high morale surrender.

The moment, when you fought until reaching the last trench of the enemy, and you got your unit's head blasted by bombs, depleting their morale, and making the surrender ten metres from winning...

My army tends to reach the end zone (an accomplishment in itself as enemies seem to spawn 3 tanks per tank I spawn) then just waits until my morale runs out. Am I doing something wrong?

Losing a tank on the last match will almost guarantee your loss, unless you have an officer because of the moral drop.

Not bad game but support shouldnt keep hitting if friendly troops reach at that spot plus trench should have more spaces, even in real life that much space is kind of low

"The enemy tank is where? Ok, cool, we'll fire 10 yards below it every time, to prove how little we need artillery."
"Ok so we see the tank. It is literally in our view. So let's chuck grenades about 2 or 3 yards away from it and hope the blast zone nicks it."
