Great game. All it needs are badges and a slightly easier campaign. I know war isn't fair but it still very hard. 5/5 stars.

Amazing game that only has a few problems. Needs to be longer, with more upgrade options. To all you whiners complaining about how your rifleman got owned by a sharpshooter, THATS HOW IT WORKS! When a gun fires a bullet longer than your finger, and that bullet can travel half a mile and still be traveling at 4000 FPS, it kills you! Keep three sharpshooters in a second to the front trench, atleast one machinegunner in the front trench, flood the rest with some kind of infantry, and use a gas attack.

Seems interesting enough but when 6 squads of riflemen just drop dead in front of a trench with 1 sharpshooter in it, I just suddenly loose interest. When this happens twice in a row and my men surrender, I stop playing entirely. 2/5

Same thing here scjohng!! I had a tank crossing the last trench. I had control of 2 trenches, enemy had 0 and my men surrendered??? 1/5 due to that!!!

Aside from a few historical inaccuracies, this game is quite realistic, showing war in all its cruelty and pain. The trench warfare, poison gas, lumbering tanks, ruined landscape, and near-constant death make this game as close to the Great War as flash can get, and for this I give Warfare: 1917 a score of 5 out of 5.

and you should be able to combine troops that died instead of having 3 groups of one lewis gunner i should be able to make em into one group of 3 :/

You can screw yourself over in the long run if you rush through the early levels and miss out on experience. I'm now on the last level, losing repeatedly and getting no experience from losses. Not fun.

yea the morale needs tweaking. whether there are tanks and officers on the field or not, right before a win is supposed to occur and all my stats at the end outrank that of the enemy, i don't understand how poor morale forces me to loose.

5/5 fast paced game but....wat happens to retreating? no customizable classes? think about that...also why make the other campaign on the site only? i dunt like playing the same game on two diff sites...

It is too hard, though. There should be difficulty levels, and a choice to replay earlier levels for experience.
