Just beat hardened on the first run through and got the achievement. Wasn't all too hard after that -20% point cost thing. 4/5 (Might need a bit of difficulty tweaking.)

It may be because you can only have one unit under a cover point at a time. If a second unit comes in they will keep moving.

Ok, one thing that is VERY VERY WRONG!!!
Don't let my troops push forward by themselves. They leave cover when a tank is coming and things like that. They should ONLY leave cover when i TELL THEM TO. This fault practically makes hardened 5 times harder than it should be.

WTF? Why do my guys auto advance when I tell them to lay down suppressing fire? Goddamn when a tank is less than 10 feet from you, you DO NOT ADVANCE!

the reason they aim for the bazooka men is cuz they are the only real threat. put riflemen in front of the bazooka men ( like a cuple feet) and that should solve the problem. :) i rate this 10/10

Theres only one thing i hate about the game... The tanks... god... they ALWAYs hit my bazooka men and they die in like 1 shot..

The "Open Field" level is completely unbalanced on Hardened Difficulty. I have fully upgraded tanks and the enemy tanks completely obliterate mine..which is well and good and all, seeing as German Tanks were more resilient in WWII than Allied Tanks, but then Allied Tanks should be half the tank cost to accurately reflect how must faster the allies were able to produce them.
Very good game though, just balance is off.

ok, BIG TIP
Kill Tanks with the leutanents artillery strike, shoot it like a little bit ahead of the tank, and keep the leitanent way behind and in cover. Kills it with two shells =P

wow..... this is such an easy game. hardend is just a joke, so i cant even begin to imagine easy. Strike fast, and you pretty much won. send a infantry in first, with sniper support. then wait for 800 resources, and send in infantry and assult, with constant supply of infantry

I really enjoy the game concept but it is over too quick. You don't get to most of the upgrades and the strategic things aren't very usable strategically.
Also I wish you could change a soldiers path once deployed. You can't be strategic if you can't evade trouble or a tank! Keep at it man I do like this game!

So, the Germans had about 3 rocket teams hunkered down at the same point on the last mission on hardened. Impossible.
