It really urks me when developers feel the need to fudge what works in an effort to 'progress' When you get this far away from the core concept of the original, it's time to stop using the name of a game we love just to get clicks. Call it something new and move on or give us a legitimate Epic War... Stop endlessly fixing something that wasn't broken.

I suggest you stop relying on energy and people paying for it, and start relying on excellent gameplay and innovative ideas, like you did in the past. The truth is, this is no longer the epic war we knew and loved, but it is now just one of those games people stop playing after a day or two, because it is so absurdly frustrating. Sorry, but that's the truth.

"Epic War": Yeah 5/5. After 30 minutes playing: Uh? Boring, 3/5. After one hour: Incredibly repetitive. Using energy to play. Buying crystals. 1/5. Except the name and the game design, this is not Epic War games (that I really loved). I hope it'll be profitable to you, but I'll wear black for the original Epic War soul. Very disappointed.

I completely agree with some of these comments... each game has been a step forward and 2 steps back. Requiring energy to play a game that is 99% grinding leads me to believe it would take me weeks of legitimate effort to get through this game. [1/5] I'm fine with grindy games so long as I can play to my hearts content.

Definitely the worst game of "Saga". Slow progress and dull, absurd to repeat the same infinity missions, farmare is stressful and passes the desire to play, but there is no other way to advance. Vote 1.

This used to be a franchise I cared about. With each addition improving on the last. Next time just publish directly to facebook and save us getting our hopes up.

Can you lower the prices for some thing or at least increase the amount of gold i get from missions? The reaper from water temple level 5 costs 666,000 gold. HOW can i earn that much money???

I *loved* every epic war game so was exctied to see this - this is a disgrace to the series, I'm so disappointed. Without hero hp regen, the battles are tedious. The way extra action and energy bounce back and forth from each other is just bizarre. Worst though, there is no clear set of high level goals like winning the game - I want accomplishment and challenge. Not an endless treadmill to suck money on energy points.

I love this game. The greatest game play I have seen in this type of mmo, I just hope you find a way to remedy the lag issue.

This game is truly abysmal. From the in-game combat that was unsuccessful to the insane amount of grinding, for what - to keep us playing this poorly designed game for days? months?

Aand another one of these Mafia Wars style web browsing flash based games. More props to the people that enjoy them but I wish these types of games had their own genre. Replaying the same mission over and over to get 100% and clicking through menus before getting into fights is boring and always has been, but I was never a fan of Mafia Wars either.

crusader shield and barrier shield.....wtf?! crusader shield had better stats but cost the exact same. why would i ever buy the barrier shield? just pointing that out.

this game could do with a basic attack for the heroes, make it used with spacebar or something because the special attack isnt good enough

Early gold farming is easily accomplished by purchasing the Shark Men unit (600 gold) in the Water Temple and spamming it on Mission 4
