@maxamus2000: There was never a sell function to begin with! No sell function is needed either. Waste of space considering grinding would be faster 99% of the time, with the only exception being 9-3.
And as for energy. If you know how to play the game well, its essentially non-existent.

this game is SO facebook style: loaded with premium content that nobody is going to buy, and energy! that stuff freaks me out like clowns and mimes do. energy system blows. this game was awesome until u added more premium content. and added that stupid thing u call an energy bar. and removed the sell function. rate up if you think the energy bar should be removed and the sell function added.

I think this game is great and all , but i think its too much. like when i think of Epic war games i think of the EPIC game, but this is just too much. i look at this and kinda see a big mess. like ninjas, dinosaurs, a fat popo jumping up m& down? really? in the last epic war game it was almost PERFECT. almost. now they fell back down a bit. and have to regain that perfection. anyway Great game just, you know... a little bad. dont get me wrong i like this game ,just ehh.. still i give this game a 3/5

Without a basic attack you're screwed if the unit you really need at the time has a large cost. Oh and how come apparently I have a problem with my internet all of a sudden? When actually there's NOTHING wrong at all...? -.-

This game is pretty crappy compared to the previous entries in the series... way too complicated without explanations of what's going on, then in the middle of long long battles it disconnects you from the server and you have to start again, etc... just not enjoyable anymore.

I particularly like the way there's a 30 second lag on "assigning one stat point", because it freezes the game while it tells the server "I added one (1) i ONE stat point". Classy

Newbie tip: Achievements are your friend. Some of the biggest bonuses you can get early on come from things like mastering a mission(getting 300% on it) or from sheer number of battles completed, both in terms of money and equipment that you otherwise would not be able to access without a lot more grinding than this represents.

Bug warning: The energy timer freezes on the results screen, and seems to freeze during combat as well, so if you disconnect or leave the room you will recharge no energy until you reconnect to the game. This also means that using the hourglass costs you up to two and a half points of energy should you use all the time it provides you.

somewhere along the lines (im guessing after epic war 2) this dev confused endless grinding with actual game content. It's a fun game but i HAVE to give it a 1/5 due to the shameless energy system and the complete lack of substance. I mean you go through "chapters" just to face upgraded versions of the people you have already beaten 50 times.

Most of fights you can do in less then one minute, just buy some fast units like warg riders and use rage.Your opponent will summon 1st or 2nd level of monsters, that you can kill by one hit with your heros special attack,so your units can kill the "bad hero" very fast :p

Are you seriously copying the zynga model? The Epic War series does not suit this system at all... Fights take way too long for me to want to complete more than once. Energy and Actions for playing? Why would you want to add this in? By the time I clear one of the high level fights enough time will have passed to just do it again anyway... This series has taken a nose dive in quality since 3... I really don't get the move to zynga's style of playing... this it seriously the last epic war game I'm ever playing...

were you a complete idiot while making the game.....first why we have no basic attack....why the hell all the bar is gone when using 1 attack or summon 1 unit....try to make like the real epic war game.......that awesome game.....not this thing......i would give this 2/5 ....epic war belongs to rudy sudarto....this game has everything to make it fail......i like the graphics and the fights....but all these problems make it fails...truth is i just play it for badges

Ranged troops knock meele troops back so fast, there's almost no point in using them, it seems. Whole game is kind of...meh so far.

Having dug into this game further, I can say a few things. First: Balance issues. Being able to clear every single mission clean up until Chapter 4 boss with White Tiger rushes in ten seconds is unacceptably poor balancing. The fact it took until The first and fourth bosses (White tigers kill the other two pathetically quickly) actually have that sense of "Epic" that this series is known for, but -nothing else does- where I'm at. Blocking heroes behind paywalls is gross. And Blacksmithing costs are -outrageous-. Buying swords one at a time, as well, unacceptable. You have potential here and are wasting it.

We should be able to buy multiple items at once. For example, I need a ton of Silver Swords to buy epic blades. I mean the game is time-consuming enough as it is, loading after every purchase just feels unnecessary.

if u get the army bar full, Why the hell does it all go away if you summon any unit even when they cost 1?!?!?! WTF?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Its been completely overcomplicated with the army setup. It is no longer the relatively simple home screen with a fairly easy upgrade system and army elements. And adding a timer and removing the castles in favor of the heroes as the "king piece" makes no sense. Completely ruined the feel of the game

This game has lost so much of the general vibe of the original games in the series. If it wasn't labeled an Epic War I honestly wouldn't even have realized it was part of the same series. These games have been straying further and further from the main tasty jelly filled center that we found when playing the original games. don't get me wrong, I totally support innovation of games in a series, but this is just selling a name, without the old game we loved to support it.
