ice needle is great for bulding up combo you can easy get a 30-50% extra attack if you keep that combo you can easy beat bosses by just skping one turn and then going all or nothing

That James sure has grudge issues... I open a magic box and see a vastly upgraded James (from James Training Mission Cpt.1). The damage he was doing 350-600 per hit was insane... 2 AP is all it took to wipe out my entire party of 2k+ health D:.

As for that scarecrow oust his Regen by doing more than he heals.. That is one long fight. But he should only ever be hitting your front character (on rare occasions the middle. On EXTREMELY RARE occasions the back.) So put someone in front that can eat alot of damage before being healed themselves. Time your attacks and rack up those combo's. Its all about timing.

The battles aren't hard with enough preparation. I mean sure at first glance of fighting said boss first time sure. But let them show their attacks then back out and do a bit of leveling. This game is heavily based on grinding levels and equipment. If this isn't your style you WILL NOT like this game.

Guys, just in case you don't know, the amount of exp & gold you get from a quest multiplies by how many times you completed that quest. I found this out by completing the quest "Don't bully me" (the first tutorial quest) several times for fast hunter experience - now I recieve more than 10 thousand by defeating a dummy in less than 5 secs. You can do this with any quest, though this number resets if you reset the game.

the only way to pass previously unbeatable levels is to increase the hunter rank so you can hire better sidekicks... kind of feeling useless for the avatar...

I haveto say some of these bosses are ridiculous. The Scarecrow 9000 hp and 500 regen per round as an introductory boss to chapter 2? Then the boss in lost mage who has 3 turns and only uses ice needle, I had the battle just about won then everyone gets froze so he gets 2 free turns and wipes my entire party out. Also why is it my character seems useless compared to those i can hire? Fun game with a few issues that need to be worked out.

im noob that started to say, and i have to say the chance of encounters in missions is freaking ridiculous....... the contrast between easnyness and hardness is way to great.... throughout half of a mission it may be easy as sh*t and then you get a boss who effing jacks you up and you die.... way too many easy minions and way to many too hard opponents.....

lol i like this game but gave up when i got to the point when the zones had like 50+ levels within 1 mission thats like an hours work for not that much items... lol

having a tank in front and skiping a turn helps to build up ap to give biger cobos remember 25%attack helps a lot especialy went you crit

One thing I noticed, the % of the classes go off of the base stats, not modified stats, could this be adjusted? if given a boost of over 100%, it would be more beneficial to include item stats in the percent change.

If I'm grinding a dungeon, I would like the option to turn off the "fight" button (except for boss battles of course).

Correction on the series I asked the developer to look at, its the "My Pet Protector" series, I didn't want it to seem like it was mine, I do not own it but it was an awesome series

A few things to spice up game play would be to allow customization of weapon skills on a weapon, or allowance to reduce cool down time after specific abilities. If you added some type of forge for this, it would make things more interesting (if you chose not to allow customization of weapon skills, at least consider allowing a forge to add +1 to a weapon up to level 10 weapons (each level yields a % more on it's stats, and each next level increases the current quantity by that %, not just the base stat), however, I would love to be able to deselect 2-thrust and have only shadow slash on my weapon so that I can have a better combo-building character)

Hate to say it but the game seems a bit under-developed... To have only 6 story missions and as many as time consuming missions that do not allow for actual "loot" except for the quest rewards is bogus, in chests, all you get are potions, status heals, and buffs, but rarely do magic chests yield supplies, and almost all floors seem to lead to extremely time consuming battles (battles seem more time consuming when you realize you have to fight at least 20 of them before the end of a 50 area dungeon, and the reward for doing so is minimal). If you take a look at my pet protector seires, there are only a few dungeons that have more than 5 or 10 floors, that is how this layout should be for this game.

If you're having trouble, before pressing fight use ironskin or invincibility potions on everyone, skip till you have 20 ap, then use a chili pepper. It's easier to maintain a combo if you just attack with only one person, most swords, dual swords and spears can "combo" by itself.

Get a dragon crest shield or hire a hunter with one so you don't get killed from freeze or stun. Hire one hunter with the highest hp and another with the highest str. At chapter 3 you can fight Viegraff to recruit him. Then at chapter 5 get Gabriel from the "divine messenger" special mission, his slay ability instakills almost anything. At hunter level 10 you can buy invincibility potions, with a couple of those and Gabby you can win any mission. "Defeat trio assassin" and "Sir George Request" gives the most hr points per area afaik so you can level fast.

another tip for a good team against mobs you need to have a pusher and a hitter, pushers are warriors that can compact them all together, an example of a pusher is an archer with the skills of fire and ice shot or has triple kick mages with dark blade are also good, hitters are dual wielders they are good at stacking combos and they usually have 2 ap these are warriors and rogues assassins are best the third members is optional you can have another hitter or a nuker nukers are slow on attack soo theres a good chance they will break your combo but with proper strategy you can avoid it like me i use the nuker cuz they can really do high dmg when your combo is high

like i said you need a chili for 1 or 2 good warriors and 8 to 9 ap 7 works too and you can kill them in one round, except theres a three boss dungeon with 28k hp they got the same stuff and they got high physical def it takes me 2 rounds to kill them sometimes 3

@supercrazy9008 if you think about it the bosses are sometimes unbalanced. but i agree that if you are careful, and prepared, and have a strategy against them, you will do fine, even though it takes a long time...
