I liked the idea and it was fun to play, until boss fights which were way too unbalanced.
NPC recruits were also way stronger than your main character could even get

The single good thing about this game, is that there is no impossible "beat all the areas and bosses" badge.
It has some potential, combos could be interesting. Its broken and flawed and the single comment I saw the dev make was arrogant and offensive to the player that made it. Fix your game, Kong should have much better testing and standards when it comes to badging things.
We are already fix a lot of things in early build. The design is to beat thegame, and we understand a lot of seems doesnt like the design. We cannot change all based on player suggestion. Its the game design essential. The game needs you to grind to hunt the weapon. About all complain about imbalance , in example lv2 boss can beat player lvl10, if you quite careful and use all you have , nothing is impossible . You have chillipepper, iron skin, ap booster etc.

Super imbalanced game. It has some potential but to force us to spend seemingly hours to level is stupid. If I can blow through all the levels of a map but get a boss that is 5 times stronger than the map and wipes out the entire party in the first round, well I post this and then never play again.

What is this... I don't even use potions, or any other items for that matter. Stacked up dozens of these, and can't even sell or upgrade them.

i just started to play and I can't figure out how to equipt stuff. Double click? Noooo... Click and drag? No.... Right click? No.... Haven't got a clue but tired of running around in just my underpants

I LOVE the concept, but the game is not balanced at all. Normally, when I see a level that is lower than mine, I would expect to have an easier time or they are weaker in some sort of way. Maybe, a level 3 with a lot of health, but no damage. However, this is not the case, levels play no part in this from what I have seen.

this game needs work. takes a full day of grinding to be able to beat the second chapter level, and the variation of difficulty between enemies on the same level is much too broad. one minute im one hit killing guys, the next guy one hit kills all my guys.

stepped into a "portal" entire party was stunned for the first round of the next batle-which was a boss battle! very dirty trick...

could use some sort of arena not just wanderers, and also.whats up with the dungeons?Either shorten up the dungeons (30 for the second chapter?REALLY?)or make an easier way to get resources.otherwise,3/5(Oh and for some reason my avatar is gone)

Looking at the comments I don't think I even want to try this. Plus, you know...it's not like we have enough RPG/turn based/clones already....

I have mixed feelings about this product.
The game concept is AWESOME, and the general mechanics are really clever. I really enjoy the execution of battles, and enjoyed the learning curve as I figured out the ins and outs of battle tactics.
However, the devil's in the details, and unfortunately, they have caused me to walk away from this game. I will summarize the main points of concern, which others have explained far better than I.
1. The balancing system is inconsistent (and sometimes seems nonexistent).
2. The economy is very one-sided and limited. I find myself stocking up on all sorts of ridiculous components that I don't need, and am unable to find ways to convert them into useful currency.
3. The roster system is very rigid, and given that money can only be acquired in dungeons, it becomes very expensive to think about changing up your party. This forces you to grind for even MORE expensive reasons.

Looked fun, but once i played it, it wasn't fun anymore. Honestly, as Juzzie said, you can effortlessly beat everything, and then when a portal comes, you get owned.

For those of you having difficulty, I recommend abusing combos. To make full use of combos: 1. Use weapons with chances of double/triple hitting. 2. Stack your team with hunters with 2 o more Action points. 3. Optional: Equip your main character with Ability: +Speed items. 4. Against strong enemies, you can skip a turn to save AP points to a max of 20. Then, have only your strongest character combo. Also extremely effective against groups because the first few attacks force the enemy to bunch together, letting your attacks "splash damage." With this strategy, I had little difficulty beating a level 5 dungeon with a party of level 10-9-7 adventurers, although I did have to use a few potions.

Another thing, try to balance this better or at least remove that 'you keep nothing if you lose'. Doing a 50 area quest to reach the final boss and see the thing one-shot your whole party just to realize all your time was worth nothing isn't fair. It's OK to be hard, but giving that feeling you get after you typed your school's homework and get an energy outage seconds before you click that save button... c'mon.

Another thing that's getting pretty annoying is: "The Mystery shop", Yeah right the Mystery shop. I mean come on man they should really implement a mission where the last zone is a guaranteed the "Mystery Shop". Because I have been running the same mission with +30 floors over 10 times now and I still haven't encountered a "Mystery shop".It's getting rather frustrating to repeat the same mission over and over again because you need the "Mystery shop", since most of the best items can only be bought from there.

Okay, I quit. Here's why: I just played a really hard mission in online mode, but my connection is going in and out. Finished the mission only to have it freeze up on the "saving/synchronizing" screen, leaving me no choice but to refresh...with my gold back where it was before the mission. It didn't save. Any of it. The save feature is the most BASIC ELEMENT of the game, and if it doesn't function properly even when my connection drops, I refuse to put any more time into this game.

where is the dislike button :( I am already level 10 but cant clear mission with difficulty 2-3 ( having party members lvl 10) now how you suppose to clear them ? ( yeah and for easier missions i had to use like a zillion potions to win.. grrr boss with 4 k health with insta kill attack and regeration wow...

Almost Forgot. As soon as you get your first piece of Iron ore, pick up the ice staff. Once you get it, you start simply opening with your mage and using all your ap until the enemy is frozen. It works on all the bosses I've tried at low levels. And should allow you to get that medium badge in just an hour or two. glhf

I'm not sure if this has been said before, but before you click the fight button, you can click and use potions and such without wasting ap. I do this often to heal up before a big boss fight. Its also where I equip y Iron Skins and Chilies.

A cool idea, it had me excited. However the pace at which you progress and how much of a boring grind the needlessly long dungeons are was a horrible idea. It took it from a game that I may have loved to a poor pay to win grindfest. Really sad, hopefully things get balanced better. 2/5

The idea is good, but...
a. Instead of those locked companions you get from time to time, why not make it possible for them to levelup with you and let you change their equipment and even class. Take example from the game 'Sands of the Coliseum' where you can either invest and level an ally or acquire better ones along the road if you wish.
b. Too much grindfest. Grindfest doesn't add to the game's length like you the author seens to think.

(part 2)
The reason for the mage is the poison spell you get with the Bird Staff. It does damage over time, countering the Chapter 2 bosses health regen atleast by a bit.
I put Lars in front, and for fights with many waves I often just let him do one attack. that generally hits for over 100. as opposed to doing combos against weak enemies. This way they rarely even get a turn.
