Neel, I don't think it's that all bosses are too hard, but some of them are silly. Level 2 dungeon boss fight has 3 guys with 1400 health each. Even by your example they'd laugh at the 600 damage and then kick you down. When everything else is a flawless victory for your team, but you can't do more than 25% of the bosses health before they rip through your team, there is a problem. Especially since using items wastes your precious AP which you need to do any damage at all.

It would be nice if the level description of the quests actually reflected the difficulty of the boss in that quest. It is frustrating to sleep through a bunch of pathetic encounters in a quest that you thought was right for your level only to find that the boss is three levels higher than advertized and packing self heals and massive attacks. I know you want me to pay-to-win but at least make me feel that the game is fair.

The game moves too slow. I don't really feel like I am accomplishing anything when I play this game, and feeling accomplishment is the main reason why people play RPGs. As well, equipment options feel far too limited. There's very little to do that allows the player to make one person's character differentiate from everyone else's. I really want to like this game, but it feels so empty of content...

14 level 3 areas out of 18, and I get hit by a ninja with what looked like 6000 health who 1-shotted my entire party. I know the magic boxes are supposed to balance risk and reward, but that is ridiculous

Awesome game! (If you put aside the grinding and money wasting part of it) You should be proud that you have wasted time!
Conclusion: You gotta lot of work to do makers... before this can be a good game... or a decent game at all

I really like this game because knowing that you start off so newbie with just a sword and no underwear makes you feel good that after the grinding you get some good stuff I finally got a sword i really wanted and its awesome cause all the hardwork paid off and the music is amazing! (Most of the time)

I find myself choosing the non-combat encounters every time, to make sure I can survive the boss fight, or just to get the quest reward faster because it is larger than any on-the-way rewards. It's a bad sign when the best strategy for the game is to avoid the game-playing areas.

Discovered a few tips: 1) You can just spam the same character (your best one) over and over and get combo. No need to use the other 2 characters as anything other than meatshields. And yeah your followers are usually better than you are, unless you pay2win. 2) You can SKIP the first turn of a boss fight (or any fight). What this does is make you attack with 14 AP instead of 7, thus allowing you to get a really big combo and stack up a lot of bonus damage. This might be worthwhile vs 1 big boss (vs 3 mini ones that you could kill in 1 turn) that can't 1 shot you.

Interesting idea and cool concept, but sooooo much grinding :( I gave this game a fair chance (prolly more than that actually), but it just became too tedious to actually get anything done. It was satisfying to take down enemies with my super-special-awesome mega-blade-of-death even after I'd been playing for hours, but when combat breaks down to me face-rolling QWE, I wish it progressed faster.

It would be nice to see how close you are to the next Hunter Rank. Selling/dumping equipment would also be great. Besides that, it's a nice game. Good to see there isn't a limited actions per time thing. Maybe a tiny chance to get crystals from chests or something, that would be nice too.

There is something really annoying. When there is an enemy encounter and a dark room in an area, then mostly the dark room is also an enemy encounter. Why couldnt they just take one of them

Overall the game offers some unique combat and gameplay along with crafting weapons and performing different combos. However, I'll have to agree with the rest of the comments that the grinding is way to time consuming and takes away all the fun of the game. This game looks really promising and I hope it gets patched soon. 4/5

yes, the game needs a ton of grinding, if you don't want to pay anything. this is clearly a p2w game. you have 3 options: grind like crazy, spend kreds to buy upgrades, go play something else.

Bosses are too hard? Try healing/defence items and skipping the rest for extra action points. You can save up to 20 action points. With some nice triple actions, you can get a combo of 42. The Scarecrow got a somersault of 600 damage in his face from a level 10 hunter! Also, The battle pays me almost twice as gold and XP from combo's then the battle itself was worth. :)

okay after playing this game for some time now and doing most of the missions, i do have to state my opinion: fun game( as sayd) but the grind is really a lot. since lvl 25 or so i havent been able to make an item that i wanted without realizing that while i do grind for the materials i do get new and NEEDED options that need ten times the amount of materials to craft. so now i am lvl 42 almost lvl 43 and since lvl 25 i havent been able to make a single item that i wanted to have. making my char just a silly little AP giver for some guy who somehow managed to get hundreds of demonstones/moonstones/angelstones...around lvl 25 xD that is frustrating but well..i see you want to make money with the game and i could have chosen to just not play it. so this is not a complaint, just a warning to other players who intend to play this game for "free". have a blast finishing the game ppl

The difficulty at higher levels without abusing the AP Boosters for the bosses is absolutely ridiculous. No slay = 15 max AP turns to take the boss down even with Chilli buff (5m MHP). Of course, the fact that they tend to kill you in one turn doesn't help much either. :/
If you even want to THINK about doing the Lv70+ dungeons for the first time, make sure to bring at least 20AP Booster IIIs and an inane number of buff items. Farm the gold in missions "Defeat the Trio Assassins" or "Legendary Silver Wolf II".
Then again, I don't have any ultimate eq, so it may be different then. Either way, without slay weapons that can continually chain (I'm looking at you, greatsword!) and a decent amount of STR, stay away from the high level missions. Most of the time it's easier to just farm up.

has anyone EVER gotten anything besides an ambush from going in the dark room, actually let me rephrase that, is it possible...

Some good and bad things about this game:
Pros: Excellent ideas with battle system and hiring allies. The graphics are pretty neat too.
Cons: The game is designed to be both a grinding game but too also have a challenge in every battle. A very bad mix. If the game is designed to be grinding then the battles should be short, quick and easy with small rewards. If the game is challenging then the fights should be hard but with big rewards. The game does not pick just one of these two elements but fuses them together to have hard battles but little rewards leaving players unsatisfied considering the amount of time they spent beating one enemy.

I really don't mind games that require a bit of grind but I really don't think this game is rewarding enough, in saying that though I have given this 5/5 because I simply think that's what it deserves, it's a very well designed game with only 2 flaws IMO

what do you have to do to unlock sword of dawn is it, clear 50 dungeons, clear one dungeon with 50 levels or clear a level 50 dungeon.

I like that game, but u HAVE to spent much time -> I give 3/5
- My Tipps.:
U can get very much Gold and Exp if u play often the same mission.
If u repeat 20 - 30 times u can get much Gold for on mission. Example: Capter 1 - Dungeon lvl 1 with 3 Areas -> first time u get 300 Gold 600Exp + Combo reward, the second time u can double this, third time u´ll get tripple amont and so on...
Mission Time 4 to 5 minutes - If u play so 1 hour, u can get up to 10 000 Gold, 20 000 Exp and more in the last step.
I Ceapter 4 is a Mission there u can easyly break the million Gold!
But it could be boring to play so often the same mission.

Boring game. I just want to unlock all job class but it's too boring to do that. Anw, an advice for everyone play this game. Do a mission name " Don't bully me " and do it a lot. In chap 2 we have a special mission that after completed it, we can hire a special hunter in tavern and they're strong as hell. Have fun!

For me there is missing something like "your house" or something like that. Every adventurer want to take a brake, take a shower or go to bed.
(Sorry for my english)

Edit:
There should be a wider variety of fonts. I think I only saw two and it's quite annoying having the same font for everything. A minor problem that came across because of this was when I was naming my avatar, the font was all in CAPS so I typed in common letters thinking everything would be in CAPS during the game but sadly I was wrong, the name font you see during a battle - the avatar's name is in common letters (my avatar) and it just looks stupid seeing the first letter of the name in common when my team members are probably named with a capital letter first. It'd be just stupid to waste so much coin in Face Shop just to change my name.
The concept of battle is entertaining and so is upgrading but it takes way too long to obtain resources to improve your avatar.

I have never seen so much hate for a game, but I have seen plenty of games that offer way less. Tip: beat the special mission and hire the axe guy, he does 1k or more area damage, I did it at lvl 10 with good item use. And for the love of God, stop whining

I see some have a hard time going through. The trick is to get more AP, hire henchmen with 2 or 3 AP, and buy armor that gives you (speed, +AP).
I have LULU - lvl.6 - 3.AP, Ling - lvl.10 - 2.AP, and me lvl.18 - 2.AP, because I bought Shadow Garb.
I get 10 moves before the enemy. I can beat a lot of chapter 2 missions with little effort.
Also buy better weapons.

I just CAN'T give this game a good note... Everyone said what flaws it got before me, so I won't repeat it. I got only one question? Why you, devs, don't give a rolling f*ck about our opinions?

This game almost makes me want to make extra accounts to rate it 1 star multiple times but it doesn't deserve that level of attention.
