I wondered why everyone says about "balancing".
Well after being get ass kicked hard by level 1 mission I realize what they meant.

By golly, there are some so-so games that I end up hating, but this game is all out BAD. Terrible interface, terrible graphics, boring gameplay.

you know I found a beta tester on youtube, and I think the reason they think this formula is okay is because they gave the guy all the op gear. 70,000 hp on a grunt is plan silly. It's a nice game but all the issues and flaws keep it from being good. Is a save function to hard to ask for?

my first play in this game (and probably the last). I have now a lvl 38 character - rank 7 assassin. could anybody tell me what's the point in going for an advanced class in this game? a rank 8 rogue is as good as rank 6 assassin and it takes much quicker for an assassin to rank up (40 fights vs. 85). unless assassin has some other perks (like higher crit rate or higher AP) there is really no point in switching from rogue. and I suspect this problem applies to other standard vs. advanced classes balancing too.

Nice turn based game, but my main char at some point become useless when i can just hire some char from "friend" who has excalibur or even better weapon :P

This is so horrible. I was even buffed by the clumsy wizard right before randomly encountering a boss from a tricky box. 1 shot and we all went down.

Normal enemies are too easy and boring, the bosses on the other hand are too strong for there level which makes its quite unfair, but I must say though the idea and the way things work wasn't a bad idea. could have been a better game. Hope the developers make some adjustments.

I'll try to add some perspective from my experience: grind can sometimes be ok. Artificial barriers that smack you in the face very early on in the game are not. The concept is good, the game is well written from a stability point-of-view. The pacing is where the problem was for me. First mission went easy (Area 1). Area 2 at level 1 was impossible. But only the boss. Everything up to the boss was easy, then WHAM. dead. Ok, grind for a bit on area 1, get better equipment, can beat Area 2 after a while. Area 3. BAM. Same problem. Finally get to level 14 and NOW I can start clearing THE FIRST SECTION? When I'm fighting level 4 bosses? Maybe one of the issues was the equipment. Some of those bosses had CRAZY items (Ice Staff is impregnable if they get lucky with freeze procs). The pacing of this game is what's off. I want to feel like I'm making progress with a grind, not hitting a brick wall every step of the way.

I can't beat a level 10 sub mission boss as a level 12. I can't deal enough damage to counteract the regen of the boss. Even when I do it's only possible if I have full AP, but even then the regen turns my 600 total damage into a messily 200 with literally over 9000 HP left to go, and if I have to heal up, which I have to do VERY often, it wastes my AP and with it my potential damage, causing the boss to regen it's health back. I just end up ragequiting mid boss fight and go back to the chapter 1 area. This games needs some serious balancing. Also, give me the ability to sell my previously useless weapons.

like others have said not balanced well. Pain in the ass till you get your main character an ice staff then its too easy.

I love the game i would like to see half of you make a game like this, no? Okay then shut the f--- up and quit complaining.

is it just me or does any one else hate when A-hired assistance is stronger than you and B-when you start off in your underwear.

This is one of the best examples I've ever seen of how bad game design can ruin a game with extremely good technical execution. Hopefully that doesn't come across as too harsh: but the game itself is really more or less unplayable. There is virtually no way to advance because the enemies' power curve is so steep; items and customizations of characters make no noticeable difference; and even for a grind-fest the amount of grinding required just to earn a change of scenery would be tiresome even for someone running a bot instead of sitting through it. Indie developers should be praised for taking the risk of making a game, and given kudos for pulling it off at all ... but sometimes indie developers don't realize how important game design and game planning is in the context of a game. It's not just about technical execution or graphics. Case in point.

this could be a great game, if you fixed the balance and grinding. as it is, its just a massive fail of a pay to play game.

3 level 10 guys from a "rare" encounter...goes down easy. 3 level 4 guys from the boss fight..totally destroy me. what the duce?!
