Quinn's Review: I generally enjoy these meta-net logic games, but Take Something Literally, for all its good ideas, has too many problems to be a truly enjoyable game. The hardware requirements are well documented: if a game requires you to have specific peripherals to complete it, that's a little shonky but it would be fine if that were listed initially, so you knew before getting involved. Mac users, for instance, lack the soln to one of the puzzles - apparently there's some way to force it, but it requires programmer knowledge. The solns to a couple of the puzzles were less than sensible, and a couple bug out, and there's no way to know that - they just don't work. The final puzzles are extremely unsatisfying, when they really should be the culmination of your logical deduction. Some of the puzzles here are good, showing a spark of ingenuity, so I hope a revamped version of this game is released with the frustrations removed, but for now, this is not a very enjoyable experience.
