Texasgal, it is not the game's fault. The reason that your game data was reset, was because somehow the game info was lost. Next time, if you are really worried, you can try to backup your file each time you leave.

Does anyone play this game for time after they have learned the combos? What's your time? My record's about 20 minutes now.

Some weird (or one that you just don't think of) combos:
Poison + Weapon = Poisoned Weapon.
Human + Human = sex.
Limestone + Fertilizer = Saltpetre.
Saltpetre + Sulfur = Gunpowder.
Gunpowder + Weapon = Firearm.
Worm + Air = Butterfly.
Energy + Human = Wizard.
Wizard + Energy = Demigod.
Human + Beast = Domestic Animal.
Domestic Animal + Human = Meat, Milk, Wool.
Tools + Wool = Fabric.
Human + Fabric = Clothes.
Water + Bacteria = Plankton.
Tree + Life = Treant.
Fire + Water = Alcohol (Don't ask me how THAT works - it just does...).
Human + Acohol = Acoholic

really needs a map feature to see a world that you have created. This would also give ideas on what to create for example there is no sand on the ground so i must create this!!!
