the week this came out i got to around 80 using the light bulb button at the bottom then i cleared all my data to see if i could get back to where i was with no help, the next week they come out with badges, thanks kong

Solid game that is lots of fun, but the interface gets annoying quickly. Two key issues:
1) After a missed match, you have to reselect both items again. The 1st item selected should remain selected until you make a match or deselect it.
2) If you select a recipe that you've already discovered, it should say so instead of rematching. There's no way you are going to remember 120+ recipes and it's a PITA to get back to where you were before the rematch.
There are other minor issues too; like the known recipes list should be sorted by most recently discovered so you can see the new ones at the top of the list instead of scrolling to the bottom.

70 elements in I gave up. Now I'm just waiting for the hint button and trying any likely combos with the new element. Would have been great with a better hint option. If I could have pressed it whenever I liked it would have been way better. I wouldn't have cheated, just would have skipped the brute force method of trying one element with everything in a group. Anything to make this game less boring and random. I dislike how so many things that are human built, aren't made with the human.

Combine equal part:
- the frustration of adventure games trial and error
- the depth and length of a 10000 pieces puzzle
and you get: Doodle God
Seriously, this game has a good idea, and correct implementation, but the gameplay is terrible. Too many choices seem completely random, while a lot of other plausible arrangements would make sense and give out nothing. The only way to really finish this game is either through a walkthough, or incredibly painful trial-and-error. That describes a (very) bad game. 2/5

Somethings to think about: Sex + Corpse, Sex + Fire, Steam + Human (= Gamer. Olol) Sex + Bacteria (= STDs), and Wizard should mix with everything.

I find it humorous how you can make a boiler and bricks before any life.
Might be a problem if the game is changed to were you can observe the element's introduction into the world.
